Pros:

De kamer was ruim en het bed uitstekend. Het gebouw, het zwembad en de tuin zijn goed onderhouden en het personeel is over het algemeen zeer vriendelijk en toegankelijk.

Cons:

De airco is slecht te stellen en blaast direct op het bed. Het ontbijt is toch echt onder de maat. Oosters is er voldoende maar voor een westerling is het brood niet om te eten en het beleg een vies kuipje gelei met aardbeismaak maar veel te zoet. Ik was voorbereid (reis inmiddels 5 weken door Thailand) en was bij Tops geweest voor wat kaas, pindakaas en Nutella. Maar echt al is het maar iets meer keus!

Very nice hotel and good value
Pros:

Very nice hotel by the side of the river. Good sized swimming pool. Cafe/restaurant overlooking the river. The room was good with a small balcony. The breakfast was a decent buffet type, catering mainly to local tourists. The hotel was very busy and we picked up a good deal on the rate. Certainly good value for money.

The hotel is situated just outside the town and about a 30 minute walk to the start of Walking Street. It is a pleasant walk along the boardwalk beside the river.

Would certainly return to this hotel on another visit to Chiang Khan.

Cons:

Although I was satisfied with the breakfast, others might like a few more things from a western menu.

Cons:

Nix. Romantikern mag das Travellerflair in den Altbauten des Stadtzentrums direkt am Fluss fehlen.

The staff were so nice. The location was beautiful and near the walking street. The pool was great.

2 nights at the Mekong
Pros:

Nice river view from the room, the breakfast was good. Very clean. Staff really nice.

Cons:

We slept poorly because mosquitoes were annoying and some guests were talking loudly and watching TV in the early morning hours. You could hear every word; the walls are paper-thin.
