We truly enjoyed our stay at Punta Borinquen Resort and had a wonderful time with our family. The location is outstanding and is definitely one of the hotel’s greatest strengths, with easy access to some of the most beautiful beaches in the area.

We also want to recognize the staff, who were friendly, welcoming, and always willing to help. Their kindness and professionalism made our stay even more enjoyable.

That said, we believe the property would greatly benefit from more attention to maintenance. We noticed broken stairways with visible mold, which raises safety concerns for guests. In our room, the dresser drawers were broken, and the curtains did not close properly, allowing a lot of light into the room. It was also noticeable that the curtains had been repaired with staples, giving the room a worn appearance.

Another area that needs improvement is the pool restroom. Unfortunately, it was very dirty and had a strong unpleasant odor, making it uncomfortable to use.

We share these comments because we genuinely enjoyed our stay and believe this property has tremendous potential. Its location is exceptional, and with better upkeep and maintenance, it could easily become one of the best places to stay in the area. We truly appreciate the hospitality of the staff and would definitely consider staying here again. We hope our feedback helps management continue improving this beautiful property.

Overall not bad. I wasn’t going for luxury. Just somewhere that wasn’t too touristy.
Pros:

The property restaurant has some delicious meals.

Cons:

It can use some modern upgrades. I understand it’s on an old military base.

It was a nice stay with very nice staff.
Pros:

Breakfast and lunch were really good. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The pool area was really nice.

Cons:

The room size was smaller than expected. The bathroom floor was discolored. It was clean but it didn’t look clean.
