The summer kitchen, the garden, kid friendly location.
We had a very unpleasant stay. A friend came to visit us briefly and stayed in the common area, not in our room. The owners confronted him aggressively and kicked him out without any explanation or basic respect. Their behavior was unprofessional, rude, and completely disproportionate. We provided proof of his reservation in another location but we were dismissed.
The house rules mention that outside people aren’t allowed in the “housing unit,” but it’s not clearly defined what that means.
After reading other reviews, it’s clear this is a pattern — the owners respond to criticism with sarcasm and refuse to take responsibility for anything. They’re not open to feedback and treat guests with arrogance.
On top of this, the shower flooded the bathroom every time we used it.
Not recommended if you value respect, professionalism, or even basic hospitality.
The hosts are amazing, the location is great, lavender smells amazing, it is very quiet during the night and walking distance from the seaside.
