Beautiful interior, the food in the restaurant was good, and the staff was helpful though few spoke any English (not a complaint, just an observation).
The door to our room was opposite the door into to the upstairs kitchen. We were awoken most mornings around 6:45 to the sounds of clanging mixing bowls, loud conversations, and the radio playing. We asked to move rooms but the concierge instead went up to tell the staff to be more quiet. That lasted about an hour.
Overall it was a clean and nice room.
We had a very rough experience with this stay! The location was off the beaten path from the city center. We went out at night and the restaurant closes early so they lock the doors. We had to wait for a good amount of time for someone to come help us get in and it felt like it was a chore to do so. When we were leaving we had one of the worst experiences. We checked out of our room and we were waiting for our car. It was about 30 mins and the manager comes out to us and starts speaking Spanish to my significant other asking him to come back inside. The manager stars accusing us that we had stolen a robe from the room. Which we had not done because none of used the robe and definitely didn’t have the room to take the robe with all the goodies we had bought. He said we need to pay for the robe and can’t let us leave. Charging us $50 for a robe that we never took. When getting to the hotel I had signed all the paperwork one was being a checklists of all the items in the room, note that we hadn’t seen the room at this point so I just assumed everything would have been there in the first place. We didn’t look in the bathroom if there was a second robe. It felt like they had set us up to have to pay this amount when leaving. We decided to pay it and just take the hit from the hotel. Then we waited for another 20 mins as they said they were going to have to charge us for an additional day of parking. Which we were only there for 2 nights signed in the agreement. They would not bring us the car until they had everything checked off their list and then stated because we stayed too long because of them that we would have to pay an additional day. This hotel is already very expensive and paid quite a bit of money to stay here. I wouldn’t stay here again because after all the additional charges on top of the accusation that we stole from them it came to be a very expensive stay. Highly recommend looking at other places if you are wanting to stay in Puebla!
Beautiful architecture. Great restaurants
Exceptionally located two blocks from town square. Fantastic spacious suites very clean and luxurious.
All good if anything it’s a restaurant after all so noice level in am a bit high. No big deal for us.
Location
Noise
This is actually a review of the hotel suites. I am so pleased with the comfortable bed, the hot shower, the deep bathtub, the towels, the room appointments.
I would not hesitate to stay here again.
One heads up of note. They have a working kitchen so the peace and quiet of the night was broken at around 7:30 by kitchen people noises and distant music. I travel with earplugs because my wife snores but just a warning that you’re going to want to bring some earplugs if background noises like that make for a bad sleeping experience. Especially if you were up late the night before lol.
Note 2: putting rosemary and lime pieces in the water bottle in the room sounds like a cute boutique spa idea, but it is actually a pretty stupid idea and it would be better just to have plain water.

Extraordinaria comida
The bathroom and bathtub were gorgeous. Best part of the room. Very nice rain shower as well. Great location and quiet.
Dimly lit room with many light switches that were hard to figure out. Thought the staff were somewhat unpleasant when we came back around 11:30pm after a wedding (we asked about coming back this late earlier in the day and were told it wouldn’t be an issue, but the door was locked when we returned and we were treated with suspicion when we rang the doorbell).
