Disappointment
Pros:

Proximity to the place where I did a course for 3 weeks. Quietness. Availability of cleaners every day.

Cons:

The receptionists didn't speak English, so communication was near impossible. Not even Google Translate was useful. The rooms that I initially booked were incredibly stinky with air freshener, the fridge and air conditioning were very noisy, and the sink tap was detached. They offered me other rooms but they were the same. I finally ended up staying in a more pricey room, which wasn't within my budget, but it didn't stink, and the air conditioning and fridge were quieter. The hot water system kept making the electricity switches go off, meaning that the system couldn't bear the demand for electricity. It also made me very unhappy the fact that the fridge didn't work while I wasn't in the room, meaning that food was at risk of going off with Bangkok weather. Some staff were helpful, and some others were rude. In all, don't stay in this hotel if your expectations are to communicate with the staff to give you recommendations about the city. Don't stay in the more affordable rooms unless you don't care about smells and noises. And be prepared to be frustrated about something but not be able to solve it.

Pros:

The room, bed and bedding were immaculately clean and exceptionally comfortable. The staff were incredibly patient and helpful and consistently went the extra mile to ensure that the needs of foreigners were clearly understood. The location is also highly accessible by various modes of transportation—Wat Klang Pier is just a short walk away, and from there, you can easily reach Pratunam Pier in about 40–45 minutes, with the Platinum Fashion Mall located nearby. Just a few steps away, you can also enjoy a Thai massage and other services from highly skilled therapists. Without a doubt, this hotel provides outstanding value for money.
