Amazing location right on te beach. Rooms are nice, big and clean. Gorgeous garden and coral reef. Free drinking water. The staff is very friendly and helpful!
Breakfast is a bit boring and not enough veggies are served. Food quality could be improved overall. There is absolute no entertainment in the hotel, apparently before they had, at least a polynesian show on Saturdays. Also we were there for honeymoon and we informed in advanced, but they didn't care.
Excelent , superb, good energy from people working there.
The rating is relatively high for this type of hotel, but after the terrible Maitai hotel on Bora Bora, at least this one was decent. Unfortunately, it rained the whole time, which the hotel, of course, cannot influence, so I didn't feel like swimming on the rather modest beach, but the room was OK, large, with a small balcony, and the bed was comfortable. There was excellent internet inside, unlike other hotels on Bora Bora, they also put in a small fridge, practical, the bathroom was clean. There is a small restaurant within the hotel which also serves as a place for breakfast in the morning. I skip the breakfast, but the bar is well stocked with a wide range of drinks.
Upon arrival at the hotel, a corpulent receptionist (a woman) almost charged me more than double the amount, 539 euros instead of 239 per one night. Most other guests would not have noticed the mistake, because the amount was in Polynesian francs, but I pointed it out to her, to which she admitted the mistake, but did not offer a convincing apology. I believe that it was not intentional, but it was very unpleasant. Upon departure, another, younger receptionist told me the wrong shuttle departure time (50 minutes later), so I would have probably missed my plane if I had not asked her to check that information. All in all, two serious mistakes by the staff. I skipped the paid breakfast, because I was discouraged by the previous Maitai Bora Bora hotel, which offered a terrible breakfast, so I preferred to stock up at a nearby store and make myself breakfast in my room. Maybe I was wrong, maybe the breakfast here was good, I can't say that.
L’accueil, le cadre et le calme!
De devoir partir
Everything was clean and staff were great.
Exorbitant price for not much more than an average resort .. but it is Bora Bora!
Rien
The beach is small but very nice. Very "Bora Bora".
There is also a small swimming pool that I found quite nice.
Breakfast is ok.
Room was nice.
Some staff was polite and ok, all the younger ladies.
One staff, an older lady, was a bit rude and not very cooperative. In Polinesia everybody smiles but not this lady.
I found a bug in the bathroom, coming from the sink, but since it is tropics I imagine that it happens. The room was clean.
They rent bikes, I liked it, but bikes were heavy and without working brakes (!).
I believe that hotel Matai, nearby, would have been a better choice.
