The lifts were a nightmare and the windows in both the rooms I stayed in weren’t very good .. couldn’t sleep well ..plus the walls were thin so you could here next door a lot

It had an old feel. Maybe pre world war Ii. The wood was real wood on the doors. The lobby was beautiful. Still had some modern convinces that we all need.
I placed an order for dinner from the menu in the room. I received a call back a few minutes later, letting me know the kitchen was closed. There was no time listed.
Location was great for getting around downtown. Easy to get a ride to and from this spot.
No hot water at the time of our stay. It just never got warm. Despite on-site restaurants, it was not available due to private bookings.
The staff, every single one of them was beyond exceptional!
Everything was perfect, there was NOTHING not o like.
The breakfast wasn’t included, so we ate out. The pool was small, but clean and covered for shade.
I expected a fridge in the room to keep drinks cold, but there wasn’t one. I asked if they could bring a mini fridge to my room and asked how much. An hour later they still didn’t bring it. They also said they didn’t know the price. I said please bring it now because my drinks were getting warm. They brought it right away after the second request. I wasn’t happy the next day upon checking out when they said it was 400 pesos for the mini fridge charge and also they were going to charge me 1260 pesos for 6 people to use the pool. I said I was a guest so why 6? I said I only had 4 guests and nobody made me aware of the charge, so I refused to pay that and I also said maybe 200 pesos was fair for the cost of the refrigerator. They waved the pool charges and stood firm on the 400 for the fridge and also my Filipina fiancé was giving me the look to just pay and not argue, so I left. The room we stayed in was a king room, but they call it a matrimonial room and I think they should not call it that, because it wasn’t prepared or presented as a honeymoon suite. There were 2 wet towels in the closet that the cleaning staff missed when they cleaned the room before we checked in. The internet price from Booking.com was cheaper than the walk in rate and if you are looking for a basic king room with a nice quiet pool, this would be a good place to stay for a night, but there are much nicer places to stay in Tacloban.
No breakfast is served on the hotel but you can order for 200 peso. Breakfast is not worth the price. The hotel offers swimmingpool but you have to pay extra for that.

Everything is clean and friendly
Spacious room and bathroom. Table and chair’s supplied in the room. Aircon worked as it should.
Would have been nice if a kettle and mini bar fridge was available in the room. All staff were pleasant and accomodating to requests. Definitely will return to this hotel.
