Great stay with kind hosts
Pros:

Excellent location , very friendly hostess who helped us with a packed breakfast the morning we left on our Camino at 6am and gave us tips on where to go and what to see while in Tomar. Lovely to see a 3 generation family run business

Felt like home from home, Helene is an incredible owner.
Pros:

I loved everything about my stay at Kamanga. A small and intimate hotel. As a solo female traveller I felt incredibly safe here and well looked after. For the price, it was phenomenal. Really personal service on my birthday holiday. The view from my room was INCREDIBLE - I took a photo of it every night and every morning! My room had everything I needed and then en suite was perfectly suitable for my needs. Loved the welcome pastel and fruit. Strong and reliable WiFi. My stay was incredibly special from the moment I got there to the moment I left. Helene is an incredible owner and clearly takes such pride in her hotel. Michelle, another member of the staff, gave great recommendations for the town. I was very sad to leave the Hotel Kamanga and if I ever choose to visit Tomar again I will be staying here without a doubt. Thank you so much, Helene xx

Cons:

This isn't something I disliked but when booking, some people may be put off by it not being in the Old Town in Tomar but don't be!! Tomar is small enough that it is a very short walk to the Old Town, plus there is plenty around the hotel to see, plus bars and restaurants.
