This place couldn't be more perfect, in terms as a welcome to Bangkok stay.
Pros:

Everything was great. Hospitality, knowledge of staff, and recommendations of places were all terrific!

Cons:

No fault of The Old Capital, but there was construction just outside the premises. This made it noisy and busier than usual.

Pros:

It was a charming small inn in the old town part of Bangkok. It was, unfortunately surrounded by construction.
The staff was wonderful and so willing to help with anything. Breakfast was very good

A real gem of a find in Bangkok Old Town
Pros:

Quiet rooms with comfortable twin beds, quiet aircon, and everything you need. Super friendly and very helpful staff team. Great communications prior to arrival including advice about the neighbourhood and transfers. The most amazing breakfast waffles we've had yet in Thailand. Just wish we could have stayed longer.

Exceptional service and place to stay in Bangkok
Pros:

The service and care that’s gone into making this a fantastic place to stay. jason and team, the bike tour and the creative space / decor really set it apart.

Cons:

Nothing - there are building works in the area however they were very upfront about this and outside of their control.

Lovely stay!
Pros:

Beautiful room, lovely staff, and a tasty breakfast.

Cons:

The location is undergoing construction which didn’t disturb us but made it complicated to walk places. Two pillows per person would have been nice. We didn’t notice til we went to bed that we only had one each.

Accueil exceptionnel. Une équipe aux petits soins et de bons conseils pour vos balades. La décoration et l ambiance de l hôtel est incroyable on se croit hors du temps

Cons:

L’insonorisation laissait à désirer mais cela ne nous a pas empêché de dormir. C’est un tout petit hôtel donc très peu de va et vient

Pros:

I've never encountered such friendly staff, they couldn't do enough for us, they made our stay so special. Their helpful advice and suggestions proved invaluable.

Perfect first experience staying in Bangkok. Great location in old town.
Pros:

Authentic style, feels intimate as only a few rooms. Beds very comfortable. Excellent breakfasts and attentive friendly staff. Little personalised notes left each afternoon in your room. Little touches which make it so special.

Cons:

Nothing, however be wary that the stairs up to the loft beds are uneven, you need to watch your step!

L' EXPÉRIENCE INCROYABLE

Bonjour !
Après avoir essayé la suite Lune de Miel et être allés faire un tour à Hua Hin, nous revoilà de retour au Old Capital Bike Inn dans la suite Terrasse et Jardin.
Cet endroit est parfait ! Tout est là, il ne manque rien !
L'hôtel est très bien situé et très agréable !
Jason et l'équipe sont aux petits soins, toujours prêts à donner des conseils sur tout ce que l'on pouvait faire, voir !
Tout le monde du OCBI est super souriant peu importe le moment de la journée ou nuit !
La literie de la suite est parfaite.
Les petits déjeuners, inclus dans le tarif de la chambre, sont incroyables ! Plusieurs plats sont proposés en plus du traditionnel.
Tous les jours nous avons eu des petits cadeaux accompagnés d'une petite carte où était noté un gentil mot...
N'oubliez surtout pas de faire la balade à vélo pour découvrir une partie de BKK !
Il a été compliqué de quitter l'équipe tant elle est attachante...
Soyez rassurés.. vous serez chouchoutés !

Incredible accommodations, kind staff, and a lovely experience
Pros:

It was incredible! The staff went above and beyond to make us feel welcome and comfortable. The breakfast was outstanding and they left sweet, small gifts in our room each day. They gave fantastic recommendations for our time in Bangkok and for our next destination. The staff also helped us book a car to and from the airport. I cannot say enough good things about this inn, it was truly outstanding and a major highlight of our time in Bangkok!

L'EXPÉRIENCE INCROYABLE
Pros:

Nous avons logé du 10 au 15 juin dans la suite Lune de Miel.
Nous ne pouvions pas rêver mieux pour notre voyage de noces !
La suite est superbement décorée avec le côté "vieille Angleterre ".
La literie est très confortable (j'ai des problèmes de dos donc une bonne literie fait partie de mes critères de recherche)
La partie Salle de bains est très esthétiquement décorée "vieille Angleterre " également !
Le plus : la baignoire extérieure est à essayer !!
Les escaliers sont d'époque, ( et là aussi c'est important pour moi car problèmes de genoux ) et je n'ai eu aucun souci pour monter et descendre.
Jason (propriétaire parlant français) et toute l'équipe ont le souci du détail et se plient en 4 pour nous satisfaire et nous conseiller pour les visites incontournables. Ce sont des personnes incroyables... des vrais coup de cœur ... la bienveillance à porter de main 🙏
Les petits déjeuner sont à tomber !
Chaque jour, nous avons pu goûter différents plats...! Tout est servi comme il faut ! Et vraiment ça tient au ventre !
OCBI est superbement bien situé et propose des balades en vélo, une façon très ludique de découvrir les alentours !
Jason nous avait prévenus des travaux dans la rue, cela ne nous a aucunement dérangés.
Et vous savez quoi ?
À partir du 20 juin nous retournons sur BKK et nous essayons la Suite Terrasse Jardin de Old Capital Bike Inn !
