Wow a great hotel with the best staff
Pros:

It’s a one off full of old world charm and slightly quirky but extremely comfortable but the hospitality and caring of the staff was the best I have experienced. I would recommend it to any traveler.

Cons:

The location is excellent, they are building a metro opposite but there was no noise.
We liked the breakfast a great fruit platter and the main options were very good and varied.

Cons:

Creaking floorboards...... but got used to them. Very authentic hotel.

So liebevoll eingerichtet und geführt! Alle Mitarbeitenden waren sehr freundlich, herzlich, hilfsbereit und immer darum bemüht, den Aufenthalt so angenehm wie möglich zu gestalten. Tolle Begrüßung, jeden Tag kleine Geschenke auf dem Bett, neues gratis Wasser, Lunchbag mit Sonderwünschen und und und.
Die Baustelle, die zur Zeit vorm Haus ist, stört gar nicht. Eher ruhige Lage. Kurze Wege zum Palast mit Taxi oder zur KhaosanRoad sogar zu Fuß. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt!

AMAZING, QUIRKY, FRIENDLY, HELPFUL, INTERESTING HOTEL
Pros:

Breakfast was not a buffet, but they supplied a choice and the food was plentiful and good.
The whole hotel is a quirky theme. We are not cyclists, but loved it.
The manager and staff were all excellent and engaging. Giving us many insights, options, recommendations for shopping, markets, tours and Michelin listed restaurants to visit, withing our budget.
The staff couldn't do enough for us.
Great location and really good experience.
We will be back.

Cons:

The stairs to the loft were sketchy, steep, no real hand rail, to steady yourself without bending down to knee height.
Probably not great/safe for the elderly or drunk tourists.
They had a deal with another hotel to use their pool for a few hundred Baht, but no pool of their own.

The property is full of character with lots of vintage features. It had a really nice ambiance and the room was lovely. I enjoyed seeing the gift on my bed every day which was a lovely touch.

Hospitality at its finest.
Pros:

If you are looking for genuine hospitality, this is your place! All the staff will go out of their way to do whatever they can to make sure your stay is perfect. The breakfast is so great, and really appreciate that its not just a full buffet which can lead to waste. The night bike ride was absolutely awesome. Honestly it felt more like staying with a host/exchange family. Thank you so much to everyone!

A great place to close out our Asia holiday.
Pros:

The staff at Old Capital Bike Inn were absolutely amazing - they treated everyone like family. The accommodations were ultra clean and the bed was super comfortable. Quite a few (free) breakfast options and the meals were delicious. OCBI was close to everything we wanted to see. The king loft room has some steep stairs to navigate which might make it a bit more challenging for guests with limited mobility but these weren’t a challenge for us (elderly) guests.
