Big room but be careful about the drivers they use
Pros:

The hotel itself is a good choice. You'll have a huge room with its own hot water cylinder in the bathroom. Aircon and fridge work well too. Breakfast is substantial and had lots of fruit! They give you handmade slippers to wear inside which I thought was lovely. The owner speaks English well.

Cons:

Don't book the Opel driver with the number plate 5454XG01. He is an absolute lunatic! He drove 120km/hr through a 40km zone and at high speeds constantly, tail gated and overtook every single car on the road, and made numerous video phone calls. This was all while on the treacherous dirt road up to the 7 Lakes. Possibly most concerning of all is that when we reported this to the hotel owner, he did not apologise or seem to care at all. Instead he just said this is how we drive in Tajikistan! But it's clearly not, as we overtook every other car on the road. Therefore be very careful when booking any driver through the hotel and set ground rules you expect the driver to keep (no speeding and phones etc). I'm honestly surprised we didn't have an accident. I think I got unlucky with the driver assigned as, going by the other reviews, fortunately most people usually don't have this issue.

Comfort stay
Pros:

The host is friendly and helpful, speaks good English and accepts USD as payment. It's near to Central Bazaar of Pajakent where you can find literally everything.

Cons:

No elevator but the staff will help you carry up to your room. Hoped they help to move down too.

Отличный отель в плане комфорта и расположения, идеальное сочетание цены и качества. Вкусный сытный завтрак. Замечательный гостеприимный хозяин М. Курбонов - искреннне хочет чтобы гость остался доволен. Он существенно помог мне с организацией поездки по окрестным достопримечательностям, предоставил замечательный номер с балконом, да и просто оказался интересным интеллигентным собеседником, который рассказал мне много нового и полезного про страну и город. Я искренне рад, что выбрал этот отель и рекомендую его всем, кто едет в Пенджикент.

Cons:

沐浴间需要改善一下排水，不是很顺畅，洗澡的时候很容易堵塞。

Встречают как дорогих гостей. Отель в самом центре, просторный номер, очень чисто, отличный завтрак. Организуют транспорт с профессиональным-аккуратным водителем. Все для гостей.

Gospodarz wszystko ogarnie
Pros:

Super gospodarz, który pomoże zorganizować wycieczkę na 7 jezior czy bezpośredni transport do Duszanbe. Kuchnia do dyspozycji. Śniadanie to jajko, naleśnik, dżem i chlebek. Wokół kilka sklepów, oddział sieci komórkowej, więc bez problemu da się ogarnąć kartę SIM. Wszystko czego potrzeba :)

Cons:

Klimacik PRLowy, dywany, tapety itp. Jeżeli ktoś nie lubi takiego klimatu to raczej nie będzie fanem.

Hospitality, cleanliness, and good vibes
Pros:

This was one of the most hospitable and clean places I have ever stayed. Maksud is a special host who went out of his way again and again to make us comfortable and the trip seamless (and great breakfast!). Would love to come back!
