Great hotel in Panjakent
Pros:

Had a great stay. The hotel helped me with arranging a transfer to the border and booking a great trip to the Seven Lakes. Honest about the prices. They suggested to (and helped me) book the trip to the lakes with other guests so we could split the costs, as I was solo travelling. Room itself was spacious. Bed felt a little hard at first, but I slept very well. Breakfast was good. The staff was very accommodating.

Pros:

This was an excellent guest house with a very kind and welcoming host. Breakfast was huge and delicious, plus we loved the decor - lots of carpets and colourful curtains. I hope to return again at some point. Thank you!

Hotel Sugd Spring 2026
Pros:

Super clean hotel and everything was perfect. This hotel gave the best breakfast I've had out of the other hotels in Tajikistan. Maqsood was amazing and super friendly. It really helps to know Persian (Farsi, Tajik, Dari) or Russian but there were also quite a few English speaking tourists. Everything was perfect. We were walking distance from all the attractions within Panjakent. If you want great food, I really recommend Oshkhona Dousti or you can type in Dousti restaurant on google maps. ATMs or Bankomats are close by as well. Most traditional Tajik food spots within the city close early in Panjakent but you can find fast food till late hours here.

Highly recommended
Pros:

The hotel manager, Mr. Maqsoud, was exceptionally helpful, kind, and always available. There was no request he couldn’t assist with:
* If you need a car to explore nearby attractions, he can arrange it.
* Looking for a reliable, fairly priced taxi to Khujand or Dushanbe? He will organize it for you.
* Even for currency exchange when banks are closed, he can help with reasonable amounts. Simply tell Mr. Maqsoud the amount you need.

Spending time chatting with him in the evenings added a personal touch to our stay and made the experience even more memorable. His stories and knowledge about daily life in Tajikistan were fascinating and enriched our overall travel experience.

It felt like more than just hotel service; having someone so trustworthy and attentive made the stay especially comfortable and enjoyable. Overall, it was a very pleasant experience.

Cons:

The water pressure was inconsistent, and at times it became too low, making it difficult to take a proper shower.

Pros:

Het personeel is fantastisch. De man heeft geholpen met de seven lakes tour, een taxi naar Khujand en hielp ons met Russisch leren.

De bedden zijn comfortabel, het ontbijt was top. Niks op aan te merken

Kiváló hely
Pros:

Nagyon jó elhelyezkedésű szálloda, közel a bazárhoz, a központhoz. Barátságos, kedves, segítőkész a személyzet. Szép, tágas, erkélyes szobát ajánlottak fel, felár nélkül. Bőséges volt a reggeli. Megszervezték a taxit a határra, útközben két régi romvárost is meglátogattunk( Ancient Panjakent és Sarazm)
