Pros:

En tant que handicapé j’ai demandé une chambre plus bas que le troisième étage. Je l'ai eu le lendemain.

Cons:

Bruit des camelots qui s'installent a 4h30 du matin la cathédrale qui sonne à 5h00 le matin. Je n’ai pas réussi à récupérer une bague que j'ai oublié sur la table de nuit. (On ma dit qu’il pensait que c'était un morceau de fer)Les fils électriques qui ne sont pas sécurisé, nous avions peur de prendre des douches.

Like many others have said. The staff were great. I forget the ladies name who checked me in, but she was friendly and helpful.
Yes, the place is a little dark and dated, but i think it adds to the charm and is in keeping with the old quarter, which is also a little rough and ready. After all, isn't that what we have all come here for?

Cons:

It's not a problem for me, but be aware that there is no lift.

Amazing location, super friendly staff

Cons:

Decor is very tired. Linens we're clean but wallpaper was pealing, walls were marked and basin was cracked giving the tired, unclean appearance. Still for the price in that location you can't complain

I USED TO OWN 6 VICTORIAN HOUSES IN TORONTO AND KNOW WHAT CAN MAKE AND BRAKE A RENTAL VENTURE . GOOD CLEAN MAINTENANCE EVEN IN A 100 BUILDING GOES A LONG WAY .

The manager/ owner tried every way to extract more money from me, including
Lying about the extra percentage for credit card charges. 5% vs the standard 3%.
Telling me that i had to refill my water bottles from a water container in the lobby rather that giving the standard 2 bottles of water per day as is normally included in the price of the room.
No personal washing soaps or shampoos.
Told us that motor bike security was only for 5 star hotels.
Really small old towles supplied for the bathroom.

Hôtel central dans Hanoï.

Cons:

Patronne demande 5% de frais si on paye par carte, partout ailleurs, c’est 3%. La laundry qu’elle propose coûte 20000 dongs en plus qu’ailleurs. TV inop. Prise défectueuse, serviette de bain trouée. L’hôtel aurait besoin d’une fameuse rénovation.
