Clean rooms; good location.
It was a beautiful room with nice hard wood and a small balcony..I could also park my motorcycle in the lobby.
hot water not available for bath.
Good location, reasonable price, motorcycle parking.
It would be better if the hotel stocked the room with 3 or 4 towels rather than just 2 towels.
Good location, close to the market and the river, with simple but very good restaurants nearby. Great value for money.
Payment is either cash or bank transfer (no credit card).
City centre location, main market around the corner, friendly and readily smiling people around, traffic easier and less threatening than other cities in Vietnam, as the "infamous motorcyclists" will slow down upon sighting your crossings.
There're always a Hello/where you come from" popped up from old to young kids, making you feel very welcoming to their city.
We're lucky to attend their catholic Saturday evening mass at 5 pm, where most ethnic minorities came in at their tribal clothing.
One way car transfer from Kon Tum to Hoi An via scenic route by the hotel: VND3 million by their experienced and friendly driver. Worth the effort!
Day 1 ethnic tour near the city over the weekend where many weddings and funerals taken place during the dry season was fantastic!
Day 2 to the mountain ethnic villages is a waste of time since the government assimilation project was so effective, you could hardly sighted traditions amongst the various tribes, costumes, houses and life style.
Travelling to the border area to Cambodia or Laos require permits.
Hotel neighborhood provides very limited choices of restaurants, mostly local "pho", but cold beer abound!
There is one corner western/local food joint across the main road, 10 minutes walk offering emergency food and drinks.
Further on, 2 popular local restaurants serve delicious "duck" and porridge etc.
Hope that helps.
The hotel is pleasant, the room, bed, pillow, bathroom, etc. perfect. There is no breakfast, but the market is nearby and the fresh baguette vendors have everything you can imagine. By Western standards, there are no restaurants, just 250 meters away in a shopping mall, Kentucky and a few similar ones. On the other hand, they cook well at the market, but I ate the best pho soup at the beginning of the street opposite the market, where you could get cold beer from the shop next to it, and I even got a glass. I miss you already.
What is not good: the internet is disastrous: sometimes there is hardly any or none at all. Don't plan too much from here. The English language skills are at such a level that the staff has not yet reached the word: restaurant. Otherwise, they are very nice, and telephone translation programs will solve the problem. What I don't understand, that's why I gave it a lower score.
Actually, there is no bed linen. Instead of a sheet, the cover that protects the mattress is used (the sheet is needed for this), and the blanket is the decorative blanket that covers the bed: there should be at least one sheet under this, so that the person sleeps between obviously clean sheets. The pillowcase is fine.
When I asked for these extras, they didn't have them (other travelers also wrote this here), but they assured me that they would clean what they had. And I doubt it. The mattress cover and the decorative blanket are also quite thick, why should they be washed instead of light sheets? My suspicions were confirmed when the guests from the next room left, the cleaning did not take more than 15 minutes and I did not see either fresh bed linen or the removed used ones, which are usually displayed in front of the rooms. And our blanket was also very stained... I recommend, because of misunderstandings, they should buy sheets instead. Good luck!
Beds have only mattress cover and no bedsheet, don't look clean. Shower curtain is dirty.
