Friendly and helpful staff, good location, clean and comfortable.

We stayed at Casa Victoria for one night while visiting Chichen Itza, and it turned out to be a great choice. The location is ideal, less than a 10-minute drive, which made getting to the site very easy.

We booked the suite, and it was absolutely beautiful. The building itself is very tastefully done, and the interiors are thoughtfully decorated with a really lovely finish. The room was spacious, the beds were very comfortable, and everything worked well — strong air conditioning, good hot water, and reliable Wi-Fi. There is also a small kitchenette, which was quite handy for heating up food.

What really stood out was the hospitality. The hosts were incredibly friendly and helpful throughout our stay. They helped arrange a tour for us, and our guide, Jaime, was fantastic. He picked us up directly from the hotel and had already arranged the tickets in advance, so we could skip the queues and go straight in, which saved a lot of time. Throughout the visit, he explained each temple and point of interest in a clear and engaging way, breaking down the iconography and its meaning so it was easy to follow. What really stood out was how he brought everything to life — especially the Mayan calendar and how the main temple aligns with it. He used photos and simple animations on his iPad to show this visually, which made it much more meaningful than just listening to an explanation. He was extremely friendly, spoke excellent English, and also took some lovely photos for us, which he later shared.

The hotel also arranged taxis whenever we needed them, which made getting around very easy. On our checkout day, we left our luggage at reception, went for our morning visit to Chichen Itza, and then returned later in the day. They were very accommodating and even allowed us to relax by the pool while we waited for our bus.

Overall, a very comfortable and well-run place with outstanding service. Would definitely recommend it if you’re visiting Chichen Itza.

Casa Victoria is a hidden gem only a few minutes from Chichen Itza. It is a well cared for property run by a family and they do a wonderful job to make sure your stay is perfect. We hired their tour guide to lead us around Chichen Itza. He was a wonderful Mayan gentleman who loves his culture. Our taxi driver charged us 200 pesos to get from the Tren Maya station to the Casa and 100 pesos from Casa to Chichen Itza.

They have a pretty garden and friendly hosts, the room is clean, comfortable.

The owner was very nice! They reached out over Whatsapp and always responded fast there. They also made sure to book taxis for us whenever we needed as it’s not easy to get them otherwise. They always cleaned our room and exchanged our towels. Overall, the resort is small and very peaceful.
