spacious room and self check in!
Lovely hotel, very clean and modern inside. No front reception but that didn't matter at all. Nicely decorated and very comfortable.
Flawless check in. Clean and comfortable. Nice decor.
Great spot!
Wonderful stay! The hotel apartment was lovely. Clean, comfortable and perfect location for our family function.
The Howard was the perfect hotel from which to explore the HRV. And it was the perfect spot in Hudson.
Room was perfect-clean, spacious, well and tastefully appointed. And quiet.
Parking and access was easy.
We look forward to future stays.
Great!
Very nice room. Just a bit odd to not see any staff but it was a perfect spot.
My new favorite hotel in the Hudson River valley. Clean, quiet, and comfy. 5 stars!
Excellent customer service! I needed to change the date of my stay and so appreciated the ease at which I was helped. I even got a room upgrade at no extra charge!
Very nice, clean, well decorated. Providing tea bags and hot water would have been nice touch. Only coffee was available in our hallway.
The hotel is conveniently located in the middle of the main road and is walkable to all restaurants and shops. Instructions were clear to enter the building. Room was clean and spacious. Great stay!
Room was ready and cool upon arrival. Elegantly minimal and nicely furnished. Decorated with tasteful art and easily accessed using the instructions provided by email. Located in the heart of of vibrant Warren Street where the restaurants, cafes and galleries are located.
Nice, updated hotel in a historical area. Spacious, well-designed, clean room (room 202) with everything we needed, including nice bathroom, decent closet (bring hangers - the 4 provided did not go far), small MCM dining table, TV and good air/heat. Just down the hall from the communal coffee maker. Street parking outside was always available.
Easy check-in and access provided via codes for the front door of the hotel and our specific room emailed before check-in. Interesting that there is no staff on site, but we never needed anyone.
For awareness, there is no elevator if you are on an upstairs floor. No issue for us.
An easy walk to antique shops, coffee/tea shops, restaurants and boutiques in Hudson. Also just a few blocks from the train station. Our faves: Feast @ Floret, Verdigris Tea, Wylde, La Mision, Kitty’s Market Cafe, Finch, Hudson Roastery, The Antique Warehouse and many others.
It was as peculiar, not sure if I didn’t read the fine print or there was no fine print, but no staff reception., did get email indicating codes etc,,,, but no mention of… your on your own! Also it was nice having the coffee maker… however some directions would be not ce… had no idea how to use… used similar type, keurig….this one no idea…
We reserved and paid for 3 nights. But after 2 nights we received a text message stating that we needed to return to the hotel and check out, as we had gone beyond the 11:00 check out time. I text back explaining that we were paid through the following day. Then the owner, Roy, called me and said we had not paid for 3 nights, just 2. I didn’t have my receipt from Expedia with me. We did not have a car and had walked quite a ways to an antique warehouse store. The visit to Which was the reason we came to Hudson. But he was insistent that we pack and leave the room. He asked if we were traveling with the people in the room above us because they too weren’t around and had gone beyond their reserved date. We weren’t By the time we were able to walk back the house keeper was at our door wanting to get the room ready for the waiting new guest. I found the receipt and called Roy. It clearly indicated our check in and check out dates. Showing all three dates and payment for them. But he still said it didn’t match his info. I showed it to the very sweet housekeeper and she looked it, took my phone and spoke to Roy. Then she passed the phone on to some other guy that walked away from us talking to Roy. When I got the phone back Roy still said our information doesn’t match what he has. So, I took a picture of our receipt and sent it to him by text. He then said we could stay another night. But by then it was too late to go back to the warehouse and finish our search. It Sucked.
Great stay. Clean, spacious, and well appointed rooms. Good location. Perfect place to stay when exploring Hudson.
Excellent location (10-minute walk to train station) in the center of Hudson. Clean, simple rooms. Digital entry to hotel and room. No reception. Not ideal if you want to leave luggage after checkout.
Very clean room, accessible to all. This was contactless, meaning check in happened via text. The coffee on our floor was a nice touch.
