Jeleztük előre, hogy kicsit későn érkezünk (este 8-9 óra), várt a tulaj, egy perc alatt lerendezett majd becsapta az ajtót és magában ordított, mint egy őrült.
This place offers true zen characteristics of getting away from it all. The rooms face the ocean without any obstruction. You can lay in your bed with curtains open and look at the waves rolling onto the beach. The hotel is located in an area where there is not a lot of traffic on the beach, it is secluded from the major crowds of Haystack Rock. Quiet is strictly enforced. The bonus is that this hotel is literally two blocks from downtown. You can walk to all the shops and little parks and the tennis court. You do not need to drive anywhere. The location is the main attraction of this secluded gem.
The room is definitely dated and cluttered which is expected in this area. However, it compensates with the mini kitchen and a full fridge as well as microwave and a comfy bed.

Nothing
This is a historic beachfront family owned property. If you are looking for minimalist, modern aesthetic, this is not it. What it is: a really thoughtfully put together set up with the guest's comfort in mind. Most hotels/ motels design a room around what is easiest to clean and with a fast room turn around in mind. They would also prefer for you to eat meals elsewhere. I've never experienced an establishment with so many items on hand for the guest to use that are also spotlessly clean. All the care involved in maintaining this older property to this standard is evidence of the owner's commitment to service. The location and views cannot be beat. The beds, chairs, throw blankets, rugs all make for a home like setting. It reminded me of our childhood vacations at our beach vacation home which was not fancy but clean and comfortable. Whether you wanted to stay a night, as we did, or a whole week, the rooms are designed to accommodate any lenghth of stay. Housekeepers should be given medals for the work that they do; beach properties are challenging work. Staff are wonderful and this place is truly one of a kind.
NOTHING. We had a neighbor that tied her dogs up on long leads which was right in front of our patio. The dogs were fine but the owner wanted to spend her time yelling at them and chasing after them. It made it so we couldn't keep our sliding door open. The owner was very kind and after asking to them to be more respectful of other guests, he moved us to a nicer room that was far from the those guests. We brought groceries to cook a meal and the new room did not have a stove. However, we were able to put something together with what the room did have (silverware, dishes, fridge, toaster, microwave, large fridge). My God, this place has everything you could think of in the room for your convenience and a list of items that you can request from the front desk. In my experience, only 4 star hotels provide all those supplies to guests!

Right on the beach. Loved seeing the elk from the back porch! Cute and quaint little place.
Not enough cable channels and no streaming device.
It is on the beach front and near to restaurants and shops. Well maintained and clean rooms. Easy check in and check out process. Have met the owner Jimmy which is very accomodating and even gave us tips where to eat which is very helpful. Will definitely stay here again when back to Cannon Beach.
Walls are bit thin, can here other room talking when they are talking loud.

We wondered when the mattress was last updated. The mattress was not supportive and was uncomfortable.
