Pros:

Wat een heerlijke herberg! We hadden 4 kamers als voorbereiding op de Amstel Gold Race. Ondanks dat het ontbijt pas vanaf 8:30 was zijn de gastheer en -vrouw om 07:00 gekomen om een volledig ontbijt en meer te regelen!!!

Wandel weekendje

De locatie, vlakbij de kerk en de mooie uitvalbasis om te kunnen wandelen

Cons:

Gezien de uitstraling van een herberg had ik meer gastvrijheid verwacht, iets meer vriendelijkheid met interesse in de mens, tips voor wandelingen, aanbevelingen etc, maar niets van dit werd aangereikt. Bijzonder is dat je je eigen bed dient op te maken, voor een prijs van 180 euro per nacht vind ik dat eigenlijk niet kunnen, met als 'excuus' dat sommige mensen enkel onder het laken willen slapen. Daarnaast was het ontbijt aan de karige kant, ik had hier meer van verwacht.

Leuke locatie voor een wandelweekend met vrienden. Na het voortreffelijke ontbijt waren we er klaar voor!

Mooie omgeving.
Makkelijk parkeren.
Goed bed.

Op zich was alles prima, maar ik had iets meer reuring verwacht.
Het lijkt alsof je er heerlijk koffie of thee met limburgse vlaai kan nuttigen... maar dat is niet het geval.
Overdag is er na het ontbijt niemand en mag je jezelf redden.
Wat op zich prima is, maar dat leek bij het boeken niet zo uit de omschrijving

Great stay in Holset!
Pros:

Very cosy place, rooms were comfortable and super clean. The staff was super friendly, which gave us the feeling of being home with family. The location is great, quiet and ideal for hikes. If I have to return to this area, I will definitely book here again.
