Ik heb ter plaatse geannuleerd met akkoord van de verhuurder. Hoop dat booking dat netjes afgewerkt.
Pros:

De herberg is al jaren gesloten. Niets te eten niets te drinken niet verzorgd. Aan met mos begroeide voordeur hing een telefoonnummer wat de gast zou moeten bellen. Ik werd zo naar de achterkant geloodst waar ik vanachter een kamertje kon betreden. Had geen enkel relatie met het beeld wat ik heb van een herherberg. Ik kwam niet om te slapen. Ik kwam om te genieten en dat was volledig niet aanwezig. Ik heb dan ook ter plaatse telefonisch met de dame de boeking geannuleerd. Zoals het ermee akkoord en zou het doorgeven aan booking. Daar heb ik tot op nu nog niets van gehoord.

Cons:

Zaak is al lang buiten bedrijf, maar je kunt er wel slapen. Omving is onverzorgd.

A lovely, rustic hide away in the countryside
Pros:

Lovely, rustic setting with a quiet and relaxing atmosphere. We were greeted with a smile and made to feel welcome. The garden was great to relax in after a day of travel and the honesty bar was a welcome reminder of a society where people trusted each other.
Breakfast was very nice, with a good selection of breads, cheeses, fruit and drinks.

Prachtige herberg wordt gedegradeerd tot matig b&b
Pros:

Mooi gelegen in Holset. De omgeving is prachtig.

Cons:

Het is geen herberg, maar een b&b. Zonde. Er is veel meer van te maken. Geen gastvrijheid ervaren (nog nooit meegemaakt in Limburg). Geen prijslijst voor drankjes aanwezig. Nadien geen factuur en alleen cash betalen (waanzinnige prijzen). Geen airco aanwezig, maar dat wist ik vooraf.

Prachtige herberg, heerlijk ontbijt. Prijs-kwaliteit vond ik tegenvallen.
Pros:

Het is een prachtige herberg. Mooi ingericht, zeker beneden.

Cons:

Het was een heel warme nacht, doordat we alleen een dakraam hadden was het bloedheet. Er was een ventilator maar die stond op een ongelukkige plek waardoor je er veel minder aan had dan wanneer hij voor het bed zou staan. Hiervoor had je wel een verlengsnoer nodig. Die hadden we niet.
Het dakraam hadden we zo ver mogelijk openstaan maar daardoor was het ook heel erg licht in de kamer.
Ik begrijp goed dat jullie geen invloed hebben op de warmte maar het was echt niet te doen in die kamer qua hitte en wat we konden doen om het wat aangenamer te maken.

Baal ook van de kosten die we nog extra moesten betalen. Voor een spa rood, een thee, de toeristenbelasting (2,90 pp) en 3 glutenvrije broodjes moesten we nog €24,00 afrekenen. Ik dacht dat ik het verkeerd verstaan had…

Mooi gelegen in klein dorpje.

De kerk slaat elk (half) uur (die staat op 20m afstand).

Das Zimmer war sehr warm, da man keinen Durchzug machen konnte. Keine Sonnenschirme hinten auf der Terrasse.

Great breakfast in a pretty and welcoming guest house.
Pros:

We atayed here whislt ont he Dutch Mountain Trail. It is a little off the way the route but lovely to stay in a village. It's a really pretty building and the guest house is run by helpful people. They did a wonderful breakfast and the use of the communal space in the evening was great. Whilst they don't do evening meals any more, they were helpful in pointing us to other options including getting a take away delivered and allowing us to use their plates etc. This was really appreciated as we were tired. Thank you.

Cons:

We rolled together a bit too much on the mattress. The bathroom mirror put in at Dutch height caused us some mirth too !
