The pool
I was sad that the base area doesn’t have much going on.
Location
No ac. Broken fans. Windows barely open (squeak, scrape, etc) Restaurant not open except for breakfast. Broken pool tiles. Alarms going off. Hooks broken in bathroom. One shower barely worked. Multiple management companies in a single building. And on and on.
Location, cafe was good (when it was open).
Pretty much an over priced dive hotel. Out-dated, hallways dirty, no AC, fans in the room dirty. Switch plate for lighting on the wall broken.
Pool, hot tub
Dated room interiors and lobby. Coffee makers in rooms vary- should be consistent throughout property.
The location was good for our trip and the town bus was easy to grab
The room was not what I expected from the description. Did not expect to sleep in a trundle bed. Carpet was ripped, room smelled horrible. Could hear noise in the hall. Expected more upscale for a Vail property.
The bed was comfortable and the location is great. Morgan at the front desk was friendly and helpful.
We did not have heat in our room the first night and the front desk worker who was clearly just trying to leave just radioed maintenance and left. Maintenance just came in and turned on and off the heater and told me it would be ok. It wasn't and we had a cold room all night. I was able to move rooms the second night, but I shouldn't have had to in the first place. There was no hot water the second morning of the trip. Pool is pretty standard hotel pool and there aren't really any other amenities that justify a resort fee. Rooms are getting dated and worn. I have stayed here before and it was always good. I won't stay again.
It is close to the ski hill and it has a nice pool and large hot tub.
Our room could’ve used some more hooks to hang up clothes and towel towels, and the one knife we had could’ve been sharpened. Also, the pullout couch could use a new mattress.
Location
Rooms a bit small
No electric water kettle in the room
No microwave
Breakfast not included
Could not leave luggage for a few hours after checkout or leave the car in car park, meaning major inconvenience for me and my family
