Location, clean, and beds were comfortable.
Lack of outlets next to the bed or anywhere really to charge devices. Thats an easy fix to aid in continuous improvement.
Cute! Perfect location. Great price.
Trash can wasn’t emptied from prior guest. No soap in guest room. Too warm at night.
The room was small but so well decorated and comfortable. We were pleasantly surprised. It is also just a block or so off the main road of this quaint and great town. The bathroom was beautiful and the whole place was so clean. It is also located next to a local brewery which was pretty good.
It was difficult to get responses to inquiries and they didn't have a space to leave our luggage after check out as our train wasn't until 8:30pm that evening.
Had our own bathroom.
Shower was beautiful
Enjoyed sitting on balcony
Not enough coffee in room
Didn't see any breakfast available.
Location.
Furniture was dated and tired. Toilet leaked around its base (message sent). No hand soap — washed hands with shampoo. No staff. Finally found extra towels in the hallway. Room 5 had an unmarked step down that was hard to see — I fell, but I’m ok. No elevator — used narrow steep staircase.
Cute building.
Sounded like an air compressor going off at 615 in the morning just outside room 3.
Fantastic location to walk everywhere in Leavenworth.
The lack of staff on the premise caused some difficulties that we observed for other guests: eg. if parking space was occupied by someone else, someone locked himself out of his room.
No breakfast
It's in a prime location, near the hospital, and a 2 min walk from the river! You get a great view of part of the mountain, too. The bed and pillows are ridiculously comfortable and plush, I slept great (I usually sleep terribly). You get a fan, an AC Unit in the window, mini fridge and microwave. Very comfortable and easy to change heat settings. All towels and linens were spotless and clearly fresh!!
Only downside for me was that noise carries a lot in the building, you can definitely hear voices from other rooms and snoring or foorsteps from above. If you are a light sleeper, some door opening/closing from other rooms may bother you. With the ac unit and fan on though, it wasn't too bad. Beyond that no concerns.
Location
We showed up at 4 at check in time. Our parking spot was already taken. Called the management number she said to park anywhere. So we did went to lock box to get key was already unlocked, got key when up stairs to our room number 5. And it was under construction ask the guys what was going on, was hard to understand them, they said to wait down stairs. We waited for 20 minutes then asked them how long it would be, they said there not sure. Sounds like they weren't expecting anyone to show up for the room. Said they had to replace toilet, some tiles and the bed. So I called management again and said that they never told us the room was under construction, and it sounds like she didn't know what was going on and said we can have room 3 for now. We went to room 3 and it was way smaller and in the back of the building with no view, absolutely not what we paid for. After arguing with the lady on the phone she said that the management would get a hold of us. Never happened. The next day I sent a email stating that we were up set for paying for a room that we didn't get and that they totally down graded the room they put us in. They emailed me back saying they would look in to it. I at least wanted some of my money back paying 410.00 for a terrible room in the back of the lodge. But never heard back. We tried to enjoy our time outside of the dark dungeon room that they over charge me for. The 3 day was check out day and notice they rented the room to someone else, never once getting a hold of us offering a discount or any response or respect. Terrible service, highly don't recommend there are many other places around that actually have staff and management on site. Please do research before wasting your money on this over price place with horrible service.
It's a cute old building, check in was easy (for us) and location is great
Bathroom has a smell. Shower is more like an overhead pipe with a leak. Poor temp control on the water in shower. Walls are very thin and you can hear everything. Ran into a guest who never received the check in instruction email with the codes, there's no front desk staff (or any staff on sight that we saw) and "staff" were not answering the phone. This was about 5:30 pm on a Friday. It's a cheap price for the area though.
Good location
Left with 1/2 roll of TP for 2 nights, we had to buy more.
