Studio 6 Extended Stay - Birmingham, AL - Medical Center

When we first arrived there was no running water. We were also told that we had to check in with the front desk because there was an issue, but they wouldn't clarify what it was. It turns out that they confused my reservation with another and had us in the wrong room for the wrong days. After I was finally able to sort that out, there was no adjustment of the wrong room. The room was moderately clean but showed serious signs of deterioration. The maintenance and housekeeping staff were very friendly and helpful.

Room was clean but the smell. It said it was smoke free. My husband and I could not rest good because of the smell, it was on the sheets too. Never again

They were clean and a/c work good

This place was pretty nice, especially for the price. I often stay at LQ about 10 miles away but this is nicer and the staff was very friendly and helpful.

Had bugs

The room seemed okay at first. However, when we returned from dinner and got in bed, we realized that dogs had been in the bed, as all of the pillows and the bedding stank.
I asked if there were any other pillows or another room available and was told there were none (even though hotels.com showed 4). Then I asked for a refund, as we were not able to stay in that room due to allergies and asthma. I was turned down and we left for another hotel.

The manager was awesome. Very friendly. Answered the phone when we called. Location was convient. However, the bathtub was nasty, the water pressure nonexistent, and constant parties all hours of the night in the next room...which is really not the owners fault. Housekeeping was the housekeeper picking up the garbage but not replacing toilet paper or sweeping the floor.
So, ive been in worse and it was decent for the cost.

No towels and smell of marijuana everywhere. There was no desk in the motel.

Low cost option but very old. Air conditioning unit had no swiches or controls. Very limited cable TV channers. Flooring has gaps and is missing pieces. Old shower stall with stains/mold in cracks. Not a place for a family to stay

I tried to cancel reservation after finding out that I had to attend a funeral out of state but hotel hasn’t honored the cancellation request

My week long stay was great. Clean, well managed property with good wifi, hot water, coffee in the lobby. All staff were friendly and courteous from the late night clerk checking me it, the day desk clerk, and the heloful and thorough housekeeping gentleman. This is an affordable property that really is worth staying at.

The hotel room was infested with bugs and just overall a not a good experience. I pray that I don’t have to stay there again especially for the price I paid.

Definitely a Good stay for the price! Staff very good! Just a few small things that needs attention!

My stay was better. Shower water actually got hot this time. Air and refrigerator worked fine

Location was great and very close to everything. Price was very reasonable. Room was clean. The fridge was nice a cold! I happened to book an extra night and ended up in the same room. Staff was very friendly.
