Pros:

Amazing breakfast buffet. Lots of places to relax in the hostel. Comfortable beds with nice curtains and big lockers.

Cons:

My dorm room was next to a busy street and very loud. The pool looks unappealing to go in. Only one toilet in a big dorm with lots of people.

Pros:

Struttura all'interno di un palazzo d'epoca perfettamente ristrutturato e arredato con meravigliosi mobili in legno massiccio e ferro battuto, camera molto spaziosa e letto comodo. Ottima colazione tipica locale.

Cons:

Purtroppo la nostra camera si affacciava direttamente sul cortile centrale e quindi eravamo costretti a tenere porta e finestra sempre chiuse

Pros:

Location was ideal. The property was stunning and still felt homey, with a layout that encouraged visiting with other travelers. It's a beautiful old building. The owners are absolutely delightful folks and the staff is super helpful. There were a couple of dipping pools, very important in the Merida heat, terraces, nice little places where you could be outdoors. Unfortunately, it was as cold as I've ever felt it in Merida at the time (very unusual), so I didn't get to really take advantage.

Cons:

Okay, super minor detail, but the latches on the coed bathroom stalls are either not properly installed or are of poor quality and I found myself locked in to toilet stalls and shower stalls on multiple occasions. This would not stop me from staying there but it does need to be addressed.

I really enjoyed staying here and had a great time. The place is clean, the staff are super friendly and close to the city center. It was easy to connect with other people. Definitely recommend staying here!

Pros:

La posizione vicina al centro e al terminal dei bus. La struttura graziosa è accogliente in una casa ottocentesca ben ristrutturata con ampie zone comuni. La nostra stanza al primo piano aveva un bel terrazzo dove si poteva fumare. Buona la colazione

Justo al lado de la calle 59 y de la puerta de mar, perfecto para visitar el casco histórico y el malecón. Habitación amplia y con todo lo necesario. Erika siempre atenta y muy amable, gran anfitriona.

Cons:

Por decir algo, que está algo lejos de la estación ADO, pero es que el casco histórico lo está.

Petit paradis au centre ville de Mérida
Pros:

Je mets 10 en comparaison à d'autres auberges faites au Mexique ...je compare ce qui peut être comparé.

Une auberge au top ! Le bâtiment en lui-même , la façon dont tout a été aménagé. Il y a de l'histoire dans ces murs . C'est un endroit vraiment agréable et reposant.
Le personnel est superbe, gentil, aidant , parle anglais ce qui n'arrive pas souvent même dans les hôtels, donc quand on ne parle pas espagnol c'est un vrai plus .
On trouve partout des petits coins confortables pour se poser. Donc on est pas tous agglutinés au même endroit. 2 grandes cuisines , des chaises et tables un peu partout . Des petits jardins aux plantes magnifiques.
Des ouvertures partout , et quand on vit en région parisienne et en pleine ville aussi à Mérida , ça fait du bien toute cette verdure et ces ouvertures.

Toilettes à l'extérieur si besoin

Petit déjeuner très très bien ! Buffet à volonté. Le personnel change de plat chaud chaque matin. Sinon c'est vraiment suffisant pour le matin .
C'est la seule auberge que j'ai a proposé un petit déjeuner de la sorte sans être plus cher que d'autres auberges .
Eau potable en libre service.

Lieu propre, nettoyage qui est fait régulièrement.

Il y a aussi shampooing et gel douche dans la salle de bain, 2 douches pour le dortoir .
Lits avec des rideaux occultants
L'endroit est bien situé, au centre ville mais pas forcément dans un lieu bruyant et proche de la station ADO bus.

Et non la tortue n'est pas juste un objet de décoration ...ils prennent soin d'elle, elle est là depuis toute petite, elle est en sécurité dans son coin car elle mangeait les plantes du jardin qui sont toxiques pour elle. Et elle partira plus tard pour un autre endroit car elle va encore grandir . Ils savent très bien et c'est prévu. C'est même pensé d'agrandir son petit parc avant s'ils peuvent, ça a même déjà été agrandi. Mais elle ne restera pas 100 ans ici .

Cons:

Alors ça peut être gênant la façon dont sont les toilettes dans le dortoir . Il y a une grande salle de bain avec 2 douches mais 1 toilette qui est ouverte sous les pieds et en haut. Mais d'un côté la maison a un toit de plusieurs mètres de haut ..donc impossible de tout fermer, mais voilà, ca peut être gênant pour l'intimité.

Concernant le dortoir, juste les lits superposés qui tremblent et grincent quand on est 2 et qu'on bouge un peu . Ça fait pas mal de bruit . Mais le lit en lui-même est confortable.
Et ça serait bien aussi de vérifier la poignée de porte de la salle de bain qui grince aussi.

Éventuellement mettre un transat à côté des hamacs. Pour avoir une possibilité d'être allongé sans les 2 hamacs car personnellement le hamac me fait mal au dos.

Les 2 piscines sont à l'ombre avec des arbres magnifiques, mais donc l'eau est fraîche . Mais ça, c'est selon le goût de chacun .

N'hésitez pas à reprendre les jeunes qui viennent et ne respectent pas le calme dans les dortoirs (claquent les portes) et vont partout dans la salle de bain avec les chaussures pas propres....une affiche avec des règles de bases ça peut être bien .

J'ai regretté de ne pas avoir vraiment l'histoire de ce lieu. Car si j'ai bien compris il y a des structures qui sont protégées sur le plan architectural donc impossible de tout modifier . Ce qui veut dire ...une histoire !
Même certains meubles sont magnifiques et sûrement anciens.
On m'a parlé de 2 maisons , d'un ancien hôpital , etc .. n'hésitez pas à en savoir plus et de le mettre en page car pas mal de personnes pourraient être intéressées de juste lire où ils sont logés ;)

Donc ce n'est pas vraiment des choses non appréciées , juste des petits détails qui pourraient être revus.
