Staff were lovely and helpful
Massively overpriced Vs other properties in the area. Aircon didn't work, room was decent but not worth the amount per night. The internet here is significantly worse than the rest of the island. A few bits like the beach chairs were very old and run down. It's a good stay if it was about 1/3 of the price.
The place was stunning, a place you want to relax.
They just accept cash basic only, hopefully when we coming back they will accept card payment.

Small boutique hotel with gorgeous grounds. Lovely pool with sunbeds. Has own private beach. Has 2 restaurants and a rooftop bar (we didn’t use other than for breakfast once - okay food, fairly long wait). Free water dispenser.
Rooms were clean and more than comfortable. Mini bar in room. Had a balcony which looked over pool area. No complaints here.
Off the main road where the restaurants and bars and shops are so easily walkable to anything you need, but down the quieter end of town which was lovely. Lovely little oasis away from the noise of the bars. Easy 20 minute walk or 5 minute tuktuk into the main bar area. GREAT quieter base to explore siargao from.
Staff helped us booked airport transfer and surf lessons. Can offer motorbike rental from hotel but they didn’t have any available when we were there.
Beach wasn’t very swimmable during our stay as low tide meant it was very rocky until very far out (not their fault!)
Super comfortable, extremely clean. Nice little quiet section but still two minutes from all the action by taxi or scooter. The landscaping is a tropical paradise and the pool is beautiful. Sits on a nice little bay that isn’t busy. Right between cloud nine and General Landing, the location couldn’t be better. The people who work there so nice.
Nothing to complain about, everything was great. They don’t include breakfast if you book on booking, but they do a if book there in person. They also don’t take cards on site.

The beach
Amazing place !
The pool area and the access to the beach is great, the access is full of plants and trees which makes the noise of the main street not be a problem at all. The AC works great and we haven't tried the restaurant but they have a nice menu.
At first our room had water on the floor (I guess it is because the tiny fridge can be noisy and probably someone disconnected it) many black hairs on the floor, around 6 or 7 but we did not want to bother so we did not ask for an extra cleaning.
There are loose tiles, so when you walk in the room, they make noise.
The bathroom had a shower that worked perfectly but since it was not well isolated the floor remained absolutely wet in all our stay.
The door to our bathroom wouldn't close, and the bathroom window, which faces a hallway that can be noisy, was broken. We had to ask the staff for assistance many times, and each time they didn't know anything about it, always surprised.
We asked to change rooms because having to ask my partner to leave the room so I could use the bathroom every time I needed to go was extremely annoying. The response? That we should wait another day for maintenance or pay extra for an upgrade to another room.
The next day we heard that maintenance had been there, but they never told us anything else. What was the last straw and made us want to leave was finding that all the pillows had black mold, which is harmful to health and caused me respiratory problems since I have allergies.
We decided to look for another place and fortunately they refunded us for the nights we didn't stay there, which I must point out. But constantly asking the staff for basic things and them never knowing how to take care of them overwhelmed our stay in Siargao.
This place is not a resort and is far from it. Cleanliness is poor and the rooms lack maintenance.

La habitación solo tenía 2 enchufes de pared. La nevera no se podía conectar. Mucha humedad en la habitación y baño muy pequeño.

I had an amazing stay at Daluyong Beach Resort. The staff were ever so friendly and made me feel at home. Everything was top notch and beyond my expectations! 10 out of 10!
