Please be informed that our swimming pool will be closed for renovation and maintenance from February 27 to March 31, 2023. This closure is necessary to ensure that we can provide you with a safe and enjoyable experience.

In the meantime, you may proceed to our Front Desk and get your wristbands to access the pool at the Belmont Hotel Mactan. Convenient overnight stay
Pros:

It was a convenient night stay near the airport before heading north.

Cons:

Check in took forever. A very slow process that needn’t be. We weren’t informed of any facilities at check-in and had to keep asking. The beach front is 700m away and there is a shuttle but it’s not clear from the booking.com profile that this is the case. The room is adequate for our needs but there was a lot of stains on the chair cover and decorative throws/pillows on the bed. Would be better just to not have them.

Great place to relax for a break. Few close coffee shops which was nice. Pool bar staff and life guards were lovely. Bre

Carpet smelt in the corridors.
Room didn’t get cleaned unless we asked the staff.
Security to get to the outdoor pool and beach. Couldn’t even take water in with you.

Worst stay in the Phillipines
Pros:

If you want a coffee go to the reef hotel (bakery) lovely staff and views

Cons:

Staff rude and unhelpful
Room very old and outdated
Blinds were not working and they didn’t give me a discount for giving me a faulty room
Beach area poorly maintained - had to carry a sun lounger down steep stairs. No staff on hand to help

Location. A good option for a stop over.. don’t think it would be a destination hotel but for the two nights we spent there before we moved on up the coast it was nice

Cons:

It was a bit frustrating. No one told us she needed a wristband to go onto the beach so we had to go back to the hotel to get one.

Dont bother staying close to beach. Stay near city centre and if you like the beach, just go for day trip towards Newtow
Pros:

Location is close to airport and public beach

Cons:

Room was too noisy at level 18, with constant sounds ruminating from pipe water opening from adjacent room. Next door had noisy party after midnight between 1-3AM.
I could NOT sleep at all
