Wonderful
Pros:

Hotel is right on the beach and we had one of the two rooms at the front with a nice view of the beach and a very nice balcony. It is at the end of the beach so a little bit quieter with a beach bar and sun beds in front. The sea is very close, less than 50m. The hotel includes a simple breakfast with toast, coffee and fruit but there are plenty of restaurants along the beach with breakfast lunch and dinner and drinks/snacks all day, we tried several and all were good/excellent.
The hotel staff were very friendly and helpful and provided free bottles of water and toiletries every day.
The hotel is an easy 15min walk from the ferry jetty but there are also shared taxis which stop outside the hotel.
If you use the sunbeds (some with shade) then various vendors come along offering fruit and snacks, drinks and snacks are also available from the hotel shop and the beach bar, all at normal prices.
One of the highlights for me was the Thai massage from one of the ladies on the beach, I don't know her name, I know her only as Number Three according to the number on her badge :-). It was so good I booked another one the next day with pedicure, all for a very reasonable price. My back pain disappeared as if by magic!! Highly recommended!

Cons:

The closest village was not really all that attractive, pleasant enough though.

Emplacement exceptionnel directement sur la plus belle plage de l île, idéal pour se reposer. Chaises longues et parasols compris dans le prix. Pas loin de plusieurs resto de plages et bars pour les soirées au bord de l eau. Personnel agréable. Café, thé et petits gâteaux accessibles toute la journée. De quoi se faire de belles vacances paradisiaques à petits prix.

Cons:

Parasols un peu vétustes mais on s'en fout, on regarde la mer!!

Ist eines der besten Hotels auf Koh Samet...

Cons:

Trotzdem es sehr sauber aussah hat die Klimaanlage feucht gerochen...
Die Toilette war auch sauber und hochwertige hat aber leicht nach dem Vorgänger gerochen...
Das Bett könnte etwas größer sein und die Bettwäsche bequemer, hab aber trotzdem gut geschlafen...
Beim Frühstück könnte man noch ein oder zwei Dinge zur Auswahl mehr auf den Tisch stellen...
Wer so hohe Preise verlangt muss mit ein wenig Kritik leben...

Allerdings war ich mit Koh Samet insgesamt unzufrieden, was ich allerdings hier nicht bewertet habe...

Hated my stay here
Pros:

Proximity to the beach was all that was good with this place.

Cons:

The list is long so ill make it brief-
1. Aircon didn't function well but when I asked the manager to get it sorted, he was angry and appeared to make it out like it was my fault. I had booked 4 nighys here and he said you pay 1 night, i huve money back and you find another hotel. The attitude was just appalling.
2. The room was located on the main road so there were motor bikes and cars non stop.
3. The door leading into the bathroom was definitely made for very short people so if you stya here MAKE SURE YOU DUCK YOUR HEAD. The bathroom also always continued to smell of sewerage.
Would I stay here again?? No chance...not even if it was free. It was not only way below acceptable standards but exceptionally pricey.
