Mr.Carlos,Ms.Manuela&Ms.Philipa we're very helpful and accommodative.The room(No.21) was well appointed with a balcony offering a spectacular view of Lisbon.Overall a pleasurable experience

Fabulous
Pros:

Fabulous location on top of hill overlooking Lisbon and very safe for solo travellers. Staff were always eager to help in any way. The view was stunning from my room. Very spacious & comfortable.

Cons:

Laundry services but they were helpful in finding me a great one very close by. LOL

Cons:

Bei Ankunft kein Trinkwasser verfügbar / verkäuflich. Out of stock. Die beiden Damen konnten mir auch keinen € Schein wechseln, obwohl ich ihnen erklärte, dass ich 2€ als Tipp für Zimmerfrau brauche. Ich kenne dieses Hotel seit 1986. Es war damals ein wirklich gutes Hotel. Das was jetzt 4 Terrassen von Zimmern sind, war damals eine Terasse meiner riesigen Suite mit Blick über Lissabon.

Das Hotel kann ich weiterempfehlen.
Pros:

Das Frühstück war gut und ausreichend, aber jeden Tag genau gleich. Mit etwas Abwechslung im Angebot könnte es optimiert werden.
Die Aussicht vom Speisesaal ist grandios!

Cons:

Bei kühlem, nassem und windigem Wetter kann es im Speisesaal unangenehm kalt werden. (Undichte Fenster...) warme Kleidung ist nötig.

the view worth the stay

The view was amazing, but the rest was average.

A very old place that made me feel insecure. There was no lock by key; only a chain on the door.
