Wild Flower Homestay

Everything !! Very nice place to stay. I was staying for one night originally and ended up staying for 7 days. Kind lovely people that will do anything to help you and make you feel at home. Great facilities and comfortable bed and breakfast is very nice too. You won’t go hungry here. Family meals in the evenings were really nice for me as traveling solo and felt nice to be with such a lovely family.

Super friendly host, and tasty home-made mango and plum jams for breakfast.

I really enjoyed staying with the family they where so kind and friendly and the evening meal was delicious. I highly recommend staying here.

La homestay è davvero deliziosa, accogliente e curata nei dettagli. Ci siamo sentiti subito come a casa, accolti come membri della famiglia. La camera era molto pulita, confortevole e silenziosa, perfetta per riposarsi dopo una giornata di visite.

La ragazza che gestisce la struttura è stata gentilissima e super disponibile: mi ha aiutato tantissimo nell’organizzazione del tour e anche per prenotare il bus per Hue. La sua disponibilità e gentilezza hanno reso il soggiorno ancora più piacevole.

La famiglia è stupenda: sempre sorridente, ospitale e pronta a offrire una parola gentile o un aiuto. Un’esperienza autentica e calorosa, che consiglio vivamente a chi cerca non solo un alloggio, ma anche un contatto umano e sincero durante il viaggio.

Everything there it was the first time that i felt like home since i started this journey
I did rest in 1 night more then i did rest in 3 days in hotels,the family was very kind and respectful and also the mother did give me a dragon fruit and a pear for free also a sandwich with eggs very delicious.
I did book a room for 1 person but they did give the big room with the same price wich i thank them
Overall in the morning i did have really good time taking with the lady but also her mom was nice too
I hope to come back again if that happens 😊

i am a sceptic so i didn't think the 10s would make sense on here...they absolutely did. Uyen you are the best. By far the real representative of 'HOMEstay' instead of being peddled a load of stuff and in a standard hotel-ish bedroom. Instead we were treated like family, including dinner, and stayed in a very comfortable room with balcony and huge bed. My friend was sick and she was brought snacks and medicine with no extra charge. Motorbike is 120k to rent every day and we used that to get around town. On a side street meaning it's a little away from the main road so you won't hear any traffic. genuinely slept the deepest sleep here my whole five week trip. also the pets are the cutest!!!!

I couldn’t recommend a better stay in Ninh Binh! I know most tourists stay in Tam Coc, but I really do believe this is the better deal! It’s not walking distance to the main attractions, but you can easily borrow a motorbike/cycle bike to get there, or the family can call one for you. The room was cozy and comfortable, and located in a quiet but accessible neighbourhood, but the true highlight was the amazing family! You will not get an experience like this staying in a hostel, trust me. I stayed two nights but would’ve stayed longer if I could.

Our stay at Wild Flower Homestay with Uyen and her family was among the most memorable experiences we had in Vietnam. Some places list themselves as homestays but are really more of a family-owned hostel. Wild Flower is a homestay in every sense. We were treated as part of the family, sharing green tea with the four generations living together, friends and neighbours. We had dinner with the family on two of our three nights, expertly cooked by Uyen's mum. We are vegetarian, and veggie options were kindly provided for us. We tasted home-made rice wine and various Vietnamese dishes and treats. I had a bad cough when I arrived and Uyen made me delicious honey and ginger tea to soothe my throat. Our room was spotlessly clean; the bed was big and comfortable. Air con and a fan are provided. There's a balcony to enjoy the sun. Uyen has lots of suggestions for places to go - we decided to rent a scooter and drive to Cuc Phuong national park, around an hour away, which was beautiful. There is a small local supermarket at the end of the street where you can buy provisions if needed. We spent lots of time with the family, including Uyen's nephew who is nicknamed Dennis - he is hilarious and loads of fun. We were so sad to leave and if we manage to go back to Vietnam one day we will definitely stay here again. Thank you so much for a wonderful stay Uyen, we hope to see you again in the future! xx

We were recieved from the gate and assisted to the family living room.
Had Welcome drink, explained tours and the about our room. Uyen was helpful to get our unwanted dorm room cancelled (due to booking.com counting our 1 year old baby as adult).
The homestay is ran by 4 generation together and 4 pets (2 dogs and 2 cats). We were told to be a part of the family. It was a perfect place to experience the day to day life of a Vietnamese Family. My baby girl also got her company, the families 3 year old nephew. No doubt the elder members were also giving her good time and care.
The bulding itself was huge (people confuses it to be some community buliding) and the rooms were enough spacious. The bed were big and comfortable.
The shower and the toilet were clean with hot water. Towels were provided and were clean.
We were allowed to use the kitchen and groceries (what else do we need). Morning breakfast was also there.
We wished we lived for another couple of days. My family will have the best memories of our stay at Wild Flower Homestay.

This homestay is a really nice option if you want a local vibe, yet still well-communicated. It is situated in the centre of Ninh Binh, so it is very convenient to get to anywhere by motorbike like Trang An boat station, Mua Cave and also Tam Coc.

The family of this homestay is also very attentive and welcoming. You will feel comfortable and relaxed while staying there :)

Yuen and her family were extremely kind. My partner and I ended up staying for five nights. Our first night there, Uyen and her mom took us to their cousin's wedding and made us feel very at home the entire time we were there. We were very grateful to be able to spend time with them all on our trip.

I had a great time with the family at the homestay! The room was very spacious and clean, it had a lovely balcony with double doors. I was received by the family with a pot of tea in the living room, a very nice touch. Sharing 'mama's' delicious dinner with them was priceless.
The lovely young hostess who speaks English is a special person. Attentive, kind, soft spoken.. She helped me with so many things! I am very grateful to her and to her family for the attention, warmth and laughs we had together. A great and inexpensive experience. I am hoping to go back on this trip, time allowing 🙂

So comfortable and the hosts are absolutely wonderful. Uyen and her family really go out of their way to ensure you have everything you need, from a hot breakfast and optional family dinner to renting motorbikes or borrowing bicycles. The location is perfect as it's central to Ninh Binh and accessible by bus or train, and it's easy to access the sites by bike, motorbike or taxi. The food at every meal is so tasty and they cater for vegetarian, vegan and GF diets. I really can't recommend this homestay enough - more than just excellent value for money, it's an experience in itself.

This family was so lovely. They helped me to organize the activities and rent a motorbike. The food was absolutely delicious. Everything was really clean. It was an amazing experience. They made me feel like at home. Thank you so much, and see you soon! 😊

The kindest family ever. Accommodated us super well. When we arrived the taxi driver dropped us off at the wrong location and the brother came to pick us up. They provided a really cheap taxi driver and went above and beyond to help us. Breakfast was served at anytime so handy for late sleepers and family dinners were delicious.
