Cons:

This hotel is classified as a five-star hotel, but in reality, it does not even come close to the level of a one-star hotel. I will explain why.

Upon entering the hotel and stepping into the lobby, you will clearly see dust everywhere. There is also a foul smell throughout the entrance area.

The furniture in the rooms is extremely old, and the sheets and bed linens are absolutely not clean.

We asked for them to be replaced more than once, but unfortunately, every time we received another set of unclean sheets.

We also found a cockroach in the room, and we constantly felt as though we were being bitten.

The towels are extremely poor quality and very old. It seems as though the last time the towels were replaced was sometime at the beginning of this century.

Breakfast is another story. It is very modest, and some items seem to have been left over from previous breakfasts, such as the boiled eggs, for example.

Another important point: the hotel's photos on Booking.com are misleading, as they give the impression that the hotel has a private beach, whereas in reality, this is not the case.

Giving this hotel a one-star rating would actually be overly generous.

In its current condition, it does not deserve to be classified as any-star hotel at all.

En härlig resa där hotellet höjde upplevelsen.
Pros:

Jag besökte Izmit under ett dygn. Rummet var fantastisk med havsutsikt, pool(som vi nyttjade) och stor härlig frukost med allt man kan önska sig.

Cons:

Wifi på rummet.

Eine große Enttäuschung – dieses Hotel hat unsere Erwartungen in keiner Weise erfüllt.
Pros:

Das Personal an der Rezeption war freundlich und zuvorkommend – fast so, als wäre es nur dazu da, die Gäste anzulocken. Alles andere entsprach jedoch überhaupt nicht den Erwartungen an ein 5-Sterne-Hotel. Leider war wirklich alles sehr schlecht – sogar noch schlimmer, als wir es uns hätten vorstellen können.

Cons:

Das Internet ist sehr langsam. Die Klimaanlage ist auf 24 °C fest eingestellt und lässt sich nicht verändern. Der Boden ist schmutzig. Da das Rauchen in den Zimmern erlaubt ist, riechen die Zimmer unangenehm, was weder für Kinder noch für Nichtraucher zumutbar ist. Der Fernseher funktioniert nicht. Außerdem ist der Lärm aus den Nachbarzimmern aufgrund der fehlenden Schalldämmung zwischen den Wänden deutlich zu hören. Als ich schließlich an der Rezeption um ein zusätzliches Bett bat, wurde es zwar innerhalb weniger Minuten gebracht, doch das Bett war offenbar in einem Lagerraum aufbewahrt worden und voller Insekten sowie Mücken. Mein Kind gehörte zu den Betroffenen und erlitt zahlreiche Insektenstiche. All das ist auf mangelnde Sauberkeit und Vernachlässigung seitens des Hotels zurückzuführen. Ich frage mich wirklich, wie ein Hotel wie dieses fünf Sterne erhalten konnte. Das ist äußerst fragwürdig und kaum zu glauben!

Big hotel with little hotel hospitality
Pros:

This is a lovely hotel with lovely staff who can’t do enough for you . Although a big hotel it retains a warmth that is usually only found in smaller hotels . We are in the restaurant and we’re well served. The room was really comfortable , light and airy. The beds were really confortable .
