very authentic good place
Pros:

The property is an authentic area of the city across the bridge there are many places to eat and the family. There is very kind and nice they make you feel like Family I would definitely stay here again.

Pros:

We stopped off for the day in between night buses/trains.
Not much in the area but able to get grabs.
A lovely basic room with basic amenities - everything we needed to rest and freshen up before our night train
Amazing staff, run by a lovely family with young children who were so very helpful

Nice Place away from Downtown but close to the Beach
Pros:

Nice hotel away from the trouble of downtown. Quiet neighborhood of Dong Hoi. There are a few supermarkets close and it is only minutes to walk to the city if you want. Also close to the beach. Friendly family runs the place. Free laundry on the roof.

Pros:

The family were very nice and they had free laundry

Cons:

The room was not advertised the way it appeared upon arrival. The location showed a different spot on booking.com than it was in person. The bed was extremely uncomfortable and the room and bathroom were pretty dirty. The bathroom also started to smell after our first full day there. We ended up leaving a night early. Even for the cheap price it was not worth it.

Pros:

If you are going there to visit the beach, then the location is very good. However, if your visit is not about the beach, it is an inconvenient location. The bed was comfortable.

Cons:

The room & bathroom were clean, but it was very musty and my wife had to use her allergy pills. The owner tried to be helpful, but the communication was a bit difficult even with translation software. There are limited dining places nearby. We have been in Vietnam for two months and we have had better accommodations for a lower price, many times.
