Calimera Sunpark Alanya - Former Sunpark Garden Hotel

Where do we even begin? From the moment we arrived at Calimera Sun Park until the heartbreaking moment we had to leave, every single day was filled with genuine kindness, exceptional service and unforgettable memories. We have travelled to many hotels over the years, but this has honestly been one of the most incredible holidays our family has ever experienced.

After arriving at the hotel at around 3am, we were warmly welcomed by Artem, who immediately made us feel at home. Despite the early hours, he greeted us with a smile, checked us in quickly and personally carried our luggage to our room. After a long journey, this level of care meant so much and set the tone for what would become an unforgettable holiday.

The next day we met the wonderful Golnush, who introduced herself and personally showed us around the hotel. This wasn’t just a quick walk around—it was a thoughtful and detailed tour explaining everything the hotel had to offer, from the spa and gym to the pools, water slides, entertainment programme and family activities. It was such a personal touch that instantly made us feel like valued guests rather than just another booking.

The food throughout our stay was absolutely exceptional. Every meal was fresh, beautifully prepared and full of flavour. Whether it was breakfast, lunch, snacks or dinner, there was always an amazing selection, and you could really see the pride and passion the chefs put into every dish.

We would especially like to thank İnan Bulut, who noticed that, as English guests, we enjoy toast with breakfast and happily prepared it for us every morning with a smile. It’s these small acts of kindness that transform a great holiday into a truly memorable one.

A huge thank you also goes to Ece, whose kindness towards our youngest daughter touched us deeply. Whenever our daughter wasn’t keen on something from the buffet, Ece would happily prepare chicken nuggets especially for her without ever making it feel like an inconvenience. As parents, these thoughtful gestures mean the world, and they are something we will never forget.

Every member of the kitchen team was friendly, professional and genuinely passionate about making guests happy.

The bar service was equally outstanding. Bilal, the Bar Manager, is an incredible ambassador for the hotel. He was always visible, always smiling and clearly leads his team with professionalism and pride. Alongside Ali and Hüseyin, every drink was served with warmth, efficiency and genuine hospitality.

The restaurant team also deserves enormous recognition. Kubilay, Hüseyin, Erva and Süleyman consistently went above and beyond every single day. Nothing was ever too much trouble, and they made our children feel so comfortable, welcome and special. Their kindness, energy and constant smiles became one of the highlights of our holiday.

The reception team were exceptional from beginning to end. Every question was answered with patience, every request dealt with quickly and every interaction was warm and welcoming. Unfortunately, I can’t remember the names of the two lovely ladies who were usually on reception, but they were absolutely fantastic and are a real credit to the hotel.

The entertainment team, especially Aykan and Eysar, worked tirelessly from morning until night to create an atmosphere full of fun, laughter and happiness. Whether it was activities around the pool or evening entertainment, they made sure both adults and children were involved and enjoying themselves. Their enthusiasm was infectious.

Housekeeping was simply outstanding. Our room was immaculate every single day, and the entire hotel was spotless from morning until night. A very special thank you to Ayşe Aydın, whose attention to detail was absolutely second to none. Her hard work did not go unnoticed, and she deserves huge recognition.

One thing that impressed us more than anything else was the leadership throughout the hotel. We regularly saw the General Manager, Samet, walking around the hotel, speaking with guests, helping his staff and leading by example. It was obvious that this isn’t just a workplace—it’s a family. Every member of staff seemed genuinely happy, proud of what they do and committed to giving guests the best possible holiday. That culture starts from the top, and it truly shows.

The hotel itself is beautiful, exceptionally clean and perfectly maintained. The swimming pools were fantastic, with vigilant lifeguards always ensuring everyone could enjoy themselves safely. The central location is another huge advantage, with Alanya’s historical sites, shops and attractions all within easy walking distance.

One of the best surprises was having access to the sister hotel on Cleopatra Beach. The free shuttle service, complimentary food and drinks, and included sun loungers made for an incredible beach day and added even more value to an already amazing all-inclusive experience.

What makes Calimera Sun Park so special isn’t just the facilities, the food or the location—it’s the people. Every single member of staff, regardless of their role, greeted us with warmth, kindness and genuine smiles every single day. They don’t just do their jobs—they create memories that families will treasure forever.

It is incredibly rare to finish a holiday and genuinely say you have absolutely no complaints whatsoever, but that is exactly how we feel. Every expectation was exceeded, and every member of staff played a part in making our family holiday unforgettable.

To every single member of the Calimera Sun Park team—thank you. You should all be incredibly proud of what you have created. You didn’t just give us a holiday; you gave our family memories that will last a lifetime.

We cannot recommend this hotel highly enough and will most certainly be returning. If you’re considering staying here, don’t hesitate—you won’t regret it. This hotel truly deserves every one of its five stars.

Very nice experience. The hotel is very good, clean and the staff very friendly. We got all inclusive and is very happy with that decision. The pool areas is great and clean. We went to the hotel spa for a massage. The spa was also very clean and we got a very good massage.

The hotel is great with good atmosphere and the staff is amazing lovely service muhhamed and apo breakfeast chef is good and taste good i will return next year with my family and girlfriend. The rooms are great and big and lovely views to the mountain and only 15min walk from alanya city. very nice place and the bar is great with the best service.

Sunpark garden Calimera we stayed here for 10 days and the experience was beautiful the gym was very good and the hotel was amazing everything was spot on and the staff were very helpful and offering exquisite customer service. Onw of the staff member named Merve which was part of the sports and daily activities was very helpful and polite in guiding us into sports like volleyball football and other sports.

Great experience overall and merve made the experience good as there was lots of activities to try out which made it better for me.

After spending 11 wonderful days here, we can honestly say that this hotel is something special. It is not a huge resort, and that is exactly part of its charm. The hotel is beautifully renovated, exceptionally clean, well maintained, and offers everything needed for a relaxing holiday. Two separate swimming pools, plenty of sunbeds without the daily race for a place by the pool, great water slides for both children and adults, comfortable rooms, and a restaurant that may not be enormous but is more than sufficient. The food deserves special praise. This was the first all-inclusive holiday where we never got tired of the meals. From the first day until the last, everything remained fresh, varied, and genuinely delicious.
As a 4-star hotel, it delivers exactly what you would hope for and even more. We simply have no complaints.
But the real magic of this place is not the pools, the rooms, or the food.
The real magic is the people.
First of all, a huge thank you to Golnush. Every single day she greeted us with a smile and always made us feel that if we needed anything at all, she was there to help. That sense of care and hospitality is priceless.
To the bar team, especially Ali and Atalay, thank you for your incredible hard work. Whether it was a cold drink during the day or a friendly conversation in the evening, you were always there, always smiling, and always working at full speed. Your dedication did not go unnoticed.

To the nurse, whose name unfortunately we cannot remember, thank you for taking care of us. Twice you came to our rescue when we needed help, and we are very grateful for your kindness and professionalism.
Marve is simply a wonderful entertainer. She does much more than organize activities. She spends time with guests, remembers people by name, and puts her whole heart into everything she does. You can truly feel her passion.
Aykan, the master of the microphone. Our children absolutely loved the mini disco. Every evening was perfectly organized, energetic, and fun. Everything ran smoothly and professionally. Bravo!
We would also like to thank the people who often work behind the scenes. The older gentleman who seemed to move silently around the hotel, always keeping every corner spotless. The housekeeping team, hardworking women who made our room feel fresh and welcoming every single day.
And finally, a special thank you to our favourite waiter, Suleiman.
In all our travels around the world, we have honestly never met someone quite like him. Every day he welcomed us with the biggest smile, served the most delicious coffee, remembered what we liked, and somehow was always in the right place at exactly the right moment. A truly exceptional person and a credit to this hotel.

No review would be complete without mentioning the hotel's beloved mascot. Our children absolutely loved seeing Calimigo, and every evening they waited for the famous words:

A small detail, perhaps, but one that brought so many smiles and became part of our family's wonderful memories from Calimera.
