Pros:

C’est un véritable havre de paix, le personnel et très professionnel, et amical.

Soggiorno a contatto con la natura in relax, devi essere pronto a rinunciare ad alcuni confort
Pros:

Eco lodge nel verde, la villa era su due piani con tetto in paglia esteticamente molto bella. Illuminazione sempre disponibile grazie all'impianto solare. Kizimkazi è un posto tranquillo dove dedicarsi al relax e alle escursioni in mare.

Cons:

La villa aveva parecchie fessure e tetto in paglia che facevano entrare parecchi insetti. Il funzionamento dell' acqua calda e dei ventilatori dipendevano dalla rete elettrica pubblica che non era spesso disponibile. Acqua desalinizzata in camera e nella piscina (che probabilmente non ha un buon sistema filtrante perchè spesso era torbida)

Séjour ressourçant dans un cadre magnifique et bienveillant
Pros:

Très joli lodge à taille humaine. Très bien situé pour les activités alentours. Si vous cherchez un endroit authentique et reposant Kizimkazi est loin de la foule touristique de Paje ou Jambiani par exemple, les plages y sont plus sauvages mais tout aussi belles. Décoration authentique et faite avec goût. Les villas sont confortables (villa éléphant et girafe). L’accès à la plage est proche et facile. Le personnel est pro, bienveillant et fait tout pour accommoder les petits aléas qui peuvent arriver couramment en Afrique (pannes de courant, réassort, pluies et fuites). Il faut prendre les choses « pole pole »/tranquille sinon il faut voyager ailleurs !
Mention spéciale pour le petit concert Blue Monday et pour le Chef. La carte est simple et raffinée. nous nous sommes régalés de tout. Le service est un peu plus lent car la cuisine est préparée à la minute. Très bon rapport qualité prix.

Ceci n’est pas un retour négatif car cela ne nous a pas dérangé mais plutôt une info
Il ne faut pas s’attendre à un front de mer avec des transats et il faut considérer les marées pour se baigner. L’eau de la douche est légèrement salée, et l’eau chaude est dépendante de l’électricité pas toujours stable mais il fait suffisamment chaud pour se doucher frais.

Pros:

On a été surclassé, logement atypique et spacieux. Le restaurant et la piscine sont très bien aménagés et bien pensés. Le séjour était agréable, avec une hôte accueillante et un personnel à l'écoute.

Cons:

Des coupures de courant fréquentes, habituelles à Zanzibar. De l'eau salée en douche (mais la propriétaire en train de faire les démarches pour pallier à ce problème).

En route vers le paradis !
Pros:

L’accueil, la disponibilité et la fiabilité du personnel ! On est considérées comme des reines dans cet endroit magique, hors du temps ! Le personnel nous fait nous sentir comme à la maison.
L’hôtel propose une large gamme de sorties et explorations, ils sont à notre écoute et nous trouvent toujours une solution !

La sortie proposée pour aller voir les tortues dans une cave (maltraitance animale)..

I stayed at Kameleon Blue some days, and my stay was truly unforgettable.

First of all, you can really feel that the hotel was built with respect for the environment. Each detail has been thoughtfully considered, and the decor has been carefully chosen with beautiful paintings outsides and small details that makes the difference.

Then, the food in very good and the hotel is very well located, 2mn walk from a quiet beach, 5mn walk from the garden cave with turtles and 10mn walk from the village where you can depart to Pungume Island or fishing.

A special mention to the entire staff, who were incredibly welcoming and made me feel at home from the moment I arrived. A particular shout-out to Julius and Nassor, who I had the chance to spend quite a bit of time talking with, but everyone else was equally lovely.
If you’re lucky, you might also meet Annick, the owner, who will happily share her passion and the story behind the hotel with you.

During my month-long stay, I had the opportunity to spend some afternoons at several other hotels in the area, and Kameleon Blue was the only place where I truly felt at peace.

A huge thank you to the entire team for making my stay so special! I would definitely come back to this place :)

Pros:

the dorm was well decorated and the beds comfortable. each bed has a net and it was a nice room with lockers.

the staff were wonderful, they helped curate my stay and i had a great time experiencing the real village and met amazing people who live there. The drumming and dance was so enjoyable, and the live music. They try hard to ensure it is a community welcoming space that includes Tanzanian spirit as well as feeling like a calm resort for travellers.

The staff that run it were just so kind and made my time there feel relaxing and special.

the food was exceptional, some of the best i had in tanz, i regret not staying for more food! especially the best in the area.
good pool.

Cons:

its not the biggest hostel vibe, which is a blessing in alot of ways and sadly i didn't meet many other solo travellers. but the locals were great and very inclusive!
