Great homestay for discovery of Phong Nha Ke Bang.
Pros:

Nice views of the river and mountains from the terrace and rooms, close to Phong Nha caves and activities, warm, helpful and caring hospitality of the host, very good breakfast and clean comfortable rooms.

Nice location but the beds were hard.
Pros:

Good location and view to the river

Cons:

The beds were extremely hard. To get off the bed one person had to shuffle off the end. No side table to put a water bottle or phone on.

Basic, clean and good value
Pros:

You can’t get a better location. It was perfect. The breakfast was good and the owners were extremely helpful.

Cons:

It was a bit more rustic than we were expecting, the photos aren’t quite up to date. But we had a good stay.

Pros:

Really loved our stay here! You are on the main road in town, but not in the centre of it all so there is no noise from bars or anything like that. The included breakfast is really lovely and the views from the restaurant, overlooking the river, are stunning. The staff were lovely, kindly helping with a late check in and a very early check out! The owner had even been to our room to turn the aircon on for us, ahead of our late arrival which we greatly appreciated. Tour bookings for the cave were also offered, as well as motorbike and car rental, although we didn’t take them up on any. Room was a good size and the bed and pillows were so comfortable, we had a really good sleep.

Pros:

The host family were incredible and very accommodating. The location was great. Easy to get around and for one night as a solo travler well worth it.
