Super homestay!
Pros:

Linh is super aardig, spreekt goed Engels en helpt met alles!
Bustickets naar Hanoi via haar geregeld.
Scooters te huur bij de homestay.
Heel lekker ontbijt, de lekkerste omelet die wij hebben gehad tijdens onze reis. Ook het overige eten dat je hier kunt bestellen is erg lekker.
Lekker bed, comfortabel matras.

Cons:

De douche is wat onhandig ingedeeld, misschien is een vloertrekker handig. Dan is na het douchen niet de hele badkamer nat.

Je hoort de geluiden van de straat wel, maar ‘s avonds valt het mee met de hoeveelheid auto’s

Wir waren drei Nächte im Cat Ba Rustic Homestay bei Linh und ihrer Familie. Wir wurden sehr herzlich empfangen und hatten eine gute Zeit dort mit tollem Service und Tipps für unseren Aufenthalt. Wir haben spontan unseren Aufenthalt für eine Nacht verlängert.
Wir wurden rundum versorgt und konnten nach unseren Ausflügen tagsüber ein leckeres Abendessen bekommen.
Linh hat sich um alles gekümmert, wir konnten einen Roller mieten und sie hat sich darum gekümmert, dass unsere Wäsche gewaschen wird. Unser Doppelzimmer war absolut in Ordnung für unsere Reise.
Am besten hat uns gefallen, dass wir nicht direkt in der Stadt gewohnt haben, sondern etwas außerhalb. Wir hatten ein Zimmer mit Blick auf das Feld hinter dem Haus mit Kühen und seitlich das Meer. Aber es ist definitiv ein Roller nötig, um von A nach B zu kommen, wichtig zu beachten bei Buchungen.
Wir würden die Unterkunft auf jeden Fall empfehlen.

Ein Ort zum wohlfühlen und entspannen
Pros:

Manchmal ist es schwer in Vietnam die Bewertungen zu verstehen, da oft einfach alles mit super gut bewertet wird. Hier war das aber anders, es war wirklich SUPER. Wir haben unseren Aufenthalt 2 mal verlängert. Das liegt garnicht an etwas ganz bestimmten, es war einfach ein Ort an den man sich wohlgefühlt hat. Es ist circa 20 min mit dem Roller von der Stadt entfernt, das ist perfekt, vor allem wenn man kein Party Tourismus betreibt. Es gibt direkt gegenüber eine Bar, wo man einfach essen essen kann und gutes Bier trinken kann. Deswegen muss man garnicht unbedingt jeden Abend in die Stadt! Wir hatten ein Zimmer im Großen Haus, mit zwei Betten , in der oberen Etage. Das Kann ich wirklich sehr empfehlen, man hat Privatsphäre, viel Platz, es gibt auch einen großen Balkon/Terasse - für alle zugänglich, ausreichend Platz zum Yoga machen. Die Hütten unten sind eng am Pool gebaut, dazu habe ich keine Erfahrung. Es scheint wie eine normale Unterkunft, aber aus irgend einen Grund fühlt man sich wohl und bleibt gerne Länger. Das liegt sicherlich nicht zu letzt an der super netten und authentischen Besitzerin und ihren Kindern. Zum frühstück gibt es Pancakes oder Baguette.
Es gibt wenige Meter einen Strand, er ist zwar vermüllt, aber trotzdem schön. Man kann super spazieren und tolle Muscheln entdecken.
Der Bus den man von Der Fähre aus nehmen kann hält fast genau vor dem Homestay.
Es befindet sich zwar eine Straße direkt vor dem Homestay, aber die Betten sind weit genug davon entfernt.
Dies ist eine ehrlich gemeinte Emfpehlung.

Pros:

If you don’t want to stay in town and you prefer a quiet and less crowded area, this homestay is perfect for you. The host is very helpful for recommandations and tours and always open for a talk. You can easily rent a motorbike at the homestay, which you need for driving around at the Island cause the house is in a smaller village. We enjoyed our stay a lot.
