Overall ok. May consider staying if I return to Austin to visit family
Pros:

Love the staff, especially Damarris. Very friendly and professional to me and my father.

Cons:

Didn't like the fact that within 1hour of being there it was discovered that kitchen light wasn't working and the garbage disposal wasnt working. Could tell that room wasn't deep cleaned after last guest. Stove had some smear stains on it from grease or dirty wash cloth. Very disappointing for the amount of money I paid.

Stay only if you need to be in that part of Austin.
Pros:

I have stayed in several Residence Inns over the years, and this one really was not up to their standards we have experienced in the past: poor AC in halls and dining area. Moved an ottoman and food underneath. The breakfast was really pretty bad, had to go to the front desk to get water..?? I will say the young man at the front desk, VERY pleasant and helpful. Would NOT recommend unless you had to be in that part of town.
