Pros:

Unique and quiet location . The pool was nice and relaxing. Also, the place has an interesting history.

Cons:

Check in. Had to text a number to get all the codes,but no one got back to us. We had to finally call a number and do a self check in.

Vintage gem with salt water pool

A true Palm Springs vintage gem. The salt water pool is amazing and it’s 24h!

Pros:

The bungalows are super cute and the whole vibe is relaxed and easy. Patio with oranges was a plus!

Cons:

During our stay they needed to do gardening in our unit, it seemed this could have been done another time to avoid the power tools noice.

Pros:

Resort like salt water pool area open 24 hrs. Clean rooms. Location was nice with access to walk along river bed. Easy parking on premises. Retro nostalgic vibe.

Cons:

Maintenance outside window - loud banging. Noisy AC unit that auto cycles on/off all night waking us up. Mattress was good & firm but rest of furniture was outdated.

Quite possibly the worst stay at a hotel/motel in our adult lives.
Pros:

Location was acceptable, manager was kind, atmosphere was inviting.

Cons:

AC unit is a wall AC/heater, angle of airflow was wholly unacceptable as it wouldn’t allow anyone to fall asleep given its annoying up/down vent angle. Simply put, we couldn’t fall asleep in this room for the entirety of the night. We had to check out in the morning after our first night. (we had reserved and paid for 3 nights) Lastly, the room needed some touchups (main door curtain needs to be replaced as it’s worn out) even if it has a stylized, 1950’s look. Apologies for being harsh.

It was very relaxing and serene.
Pros:

I liked that there was easy access to the facility and everything was clearly explained. Alex was a great host and would answer all the text messages during my stay in a timely manner.

The saltwater pool was a plus and was warm. We went first thing in the morning and it was very refreshing.

We also used the oven and the little kitchen, which was very cute and homie.

It was also nice. We had a little patio for my senior dog.

Cons:

I thought I was getting a one bedroom with a door. I’m not sure if they have that, but it was nice and comfortable.
