Property was very clean and quiet. Staff was helpful.
No microwave in the room.
Clean and bright lobby and dining area. Clean room. Very quiet stay. Great water pressure in the shower. Comfortable bed.
Only 2 lamps in the room worked. Bed pillows were very lumpy and uncomfortable. Drapes did not fully cover the width of the window and blocked the airflow of the AC unit, requiring them to be tucked on the window ledge. Not all of the curtain hooks were in their slide, requiring me to climb on a wobbly chair to fix.
quiet , clean and well taken care of.
i was highly satisfied with the all
The hotel was clean and we had no real issues but for the price, expected a much better experience. Room furnishing are tired and worn, breakfast was meagre at best consisting only of cereal, stale packaged danish and coffee with curdled half n half cups. No coffee available until breakfast room was opened at 630 and none in room. No staff after 10pm and one of our group got locked out of the hotel. Had to climb though weeds and overgrowth to get to a window of our room and ask to be let in.
Meagre breakfast consisting only of cereal, stale packaged danish and coffee with curdled half n half cups.
everything
The ability to open the window and hear the outdoor sounds and experience the sound of a rainstorm. It is on the edge of town as you drive in and leads to forest driving easily.
Maybe more options for breakfast, i.e. individual servings of yogurt, applesauce and maybe a bit of fresh or dried fruit? Something other than a pepsi machine i.e. spring water or juice.
The hotel was clean and appeared to be fairly recently updated and/or renovated. The room was quiet and away from traffic.
A BIG disappointment was the continental breakfast. I have stayed in numerous hotels/motels that offer breakfast and this place had the stingiest, skimpiest, poorest selection ever. My wife and I looked at each other and said, ‘this is a joke’.
Super clean and very well maintenance. Room smelled so clean.
They need to upgrade their electrical outlet access. They could put a 4-way plug in at the table and all would be great.
Aspect extérieur.
Déco vieillotte complètement datée.
Breakfast minimaliste.
Personnel très désagréable. Le matin au check out, pas un bonjour, pas un merci, pas un au revoir. La demoiselle était trop occupée à regarder des vidéos sur son téléphone. Lamentable !
Fuyez cet établissement.
Pretty
The price
Just outside of downtown, the area was quiet and near a grocery store and food truck. The breakfast was simple but just enough to get us moving. The hotel was older with no elevator but the decor was quaint, comfortable and very clean. There was plenty of parking. Every staff member we spoke with was super pleasant and helpful.
I arrived. I slept. I ate a bowl of cheerios and had some coffee for breakfast. I departed. It was everything I needed.
Wish I could have stayed another day.
The young gal that answered the phone was kind and receptive but said she needed to speak to manage regarding our request for cancellation due to the Willow fire outbreak. First of all air quality was poor in Leadville the night we were to stay and secondly common sense tells you to get out of the way of emergency personnel and locals during a disaster such as an active fast growing fire.
Booking was very receptive, sent a message to the Columbine Inn but we did not get any response whatsoever and our card was just charged the full amount. POOR customer service even in the event of an active fire.
Clean facilities, kind staff, and good location. Nothing fancy, but exactly what you would expect in Leadville.
Bed was extremely hard which made sleeping not great waking up stiff both mornings. Also, even though curtains were blackout, they are a bit far from the wall and not oversized for the window allowing a lot of light in around the edges.
The location was good, and the hotel was clean and comfortable.
I can't think of anything I didn't like.
