Oh, that train
Pros:

Overall, room was good. I wish the fridge was a bit bigger. The rest of the kitchen was functional. Room was comfortable. A train will run through Old Orchard Beach on a regular basis throughout the day and night

Spacious room and very close to the beach. It's all a little old, especially noticeable in the bathroom but all is clean and comfortable.

Cons:

Maybe it was the long drive but we found it a little hard to find the reception as it is in another hotel with a different name across the street. There's a sign with the address on the door of the Gull but having the other hotel name on it would help. Other guests were fairly loud sitting outside on the balcony above us and walking past the windows, that's not the hotel can do something about, but just our bad luck I'm afraid.

Pros:

Read carefully which room type you’re booking because not all of them have ocean/beach views like the photos would lead you to believe. The bathroom wasn’t clean and the shower/tub are very small.
