We had an exceptional stay for 4 nights. The location is perfect, in a quiet alleyway 5 minutes walk from Lyabi Hauz, the focal point of town. Umin has transformed his family home into a lovely little boutique hotel. He has paid particular attention to getting all the details right, both in the decor of the place and with high quality practical matters - fast internet, back up systems for power and water etc. Breakfast is served in a charming room and was by far the best we had in Uzbekistan, cooked fresh, different every day and carefully tailored to the tastes of the individual guests. Best of all Umin speaks fluent English and is fascinating to talk to about his family history and Bukhara generally. His wife, Gulshan, also speaks fluent English as well as Japanese. It was an uplifting experience to stay with these lovely people.

Great atmosphere, cosy, comfortable beds, friendly stuff
This is a small but perfectly formed hotel run by the ever-cheerful Umid and his family! The rooms are a great size, clean, big bathrooms, good air con and modern. The breakfast room is so cute, and the breakfast was delicious with the family catering for some of our awkward requirements as much as possible!
The hotel is located well to see everything in Bukhara without being right in the centre where it can get a little noisy.
My only comment would be that it’s a little hard to find and is down some side paths where there is construction. It’s totally safe and there was no noise but a taxi can’t pull up directly outside.
We really enjoyed our 2 night stay at Usman heritage, we were made to feel very welcome as soon as we arrived and the room was so nice and peaceful with all the amenities needed, including a fridge, smart tv, ac etc and the home in general was amazing, Umid and his family were really helpful and nothing was too much trouble and was a great help in arranging us a ride back to the train station. The breakfast was delicious with lots of variety and it was nice to learn about some history of the property from Umid. Location is great just a few minutes walk and you’re in the old town, would highly recommend staying here if visiting Bukhara!
Charming boutique hotel, centrally located. Excellent breakfast and a very personable host. Lot of family history on display.
I didn’t like that my room had no windows except into the courtyard. If I had looked carefully I could perhaps have worked that out before booking. As Usman is one of the most expensive hotels in Bukhara, there are a few details with the renovation that still need finishing . It would also be good to have a proper bill at check out- we were embarrassed as we understood that our driver had been paid by the hotel, but he had not been.

Es una casa uzbeka renovada con mucho gusto.
La habitación era enorme con una cama comodísima y un baño muy bien renovado.
El desayuno lo cocinan ellos mismos, muy surtido y deliciosos, en una sala preciosa.
Ubicación perfecta.
Me fueron a buscar al tren tarde y me llevaron tb al tren muy temprano con el desayuno preparado en un packaging perfecto.
Para un tipo de turista que quiere otra cosa, no multitudes pero si espacios delicados e incluso buenas conversaciones con Umid, el dueño.

Beautifully preserved family property. Retained age old feel but with modern facilities ( a/c, great shower). The breakfast room was such a beautiful space to enjoy the splendid and plentiful breakfast. Also a late night cop of tea made by Umid when I had to unexpectedly call my son. He and his wife were so kind throughout our stay and made a magical Bukhara yet more special

The Usman Heritage is a quaint, very well decorated boutique hotel. The owner, Umid, showed us wonderful hospitality and service. The room was very clean and was a nice place to relax away from the Bukhara heat.
