Pros:

This is a good value little hotel with attached restaurant. It's a little distance from the "city", but if you don't mind to walk for 6 minutes from the bus terminal, that's no problem, or a very cheap tricycle away.
Staff are wonderful! Owners friendly.
They're still working on things as its new building so not everything is perfect, but nothing worth mentioning.
For a westerner, I was satisfied.

Pros:

It is a nice hotel for a great price just under the Kanlaon mounain.

Cons:

The rooms are quite small, but that wasn't an issue for us. Also beware there are two RedDoorz hotels in the town and as we arrived after sunset and in rain we had to look for it for a while.

Pros:

The vibe and the area is pretty much perfect. Very accessible. The staff is very kind.

Cons:

The disturbing sound of construction is annoying throughout our stay. I am up all night and resting during the daytime so I wasn't able to relax that much. The water is inconsistent. It gets cut off without notice, worst is when I was in the shower.
