Comfortable room with helpful staff.
Pros:

The receptionist who checked us in was very helpful, friendly, chatty and gave us recommendations when asked. We asked to move rooms as there looked like damp on the walls and this was done very quickly and efficiently. The bed was comfortable. Self serve breakfast was basic but adequate with freshly made eggs to order. Good value for the money. We didn't use any facilities so cannot comment.

Cons:

The look of the walls in the first room we were allocated.
The house keeping staff started very early (before 7am) and were in the corridor with their cart which was quite disruptive.

Pros:

I liked it was close to bus stations onwards to khao sok etc. Breakfast was basic, pool was small but adequate, no parasols for shade though so I had to keep moving every 5 mins to not be scorched by the sun. Also only like 4 pool chairs for the whole place.

Cons:

I didn't like that there was a surcharge for literally everything! Ive been thailand 3 times, this time a month. For what they charge including all the surcharges for pool towel, early check in etc is not worth the price. I have a beautiful bungalow in the jungle in khao sok with jungle vibes and riverside view for the same price as they were charging. As I was checking out and gave the key back expecting the 300bt deposit for the key she said I dirtied the towel and that would be a 300bt charge. I didn't like there was a surcharge for literally everything. The beds were hard even compared to thai standards. The back door didn't fully lock properly either. Would not recommend...
