the staff is kind
The staff were kind, but they denied our booking made through Booking.com. I showed them my booking confirmation, yet they said it was not in their records. They claimed the booking was for another branch of Canary Hanoi Hotel, but when I searched, there was no other branch with that name.
The photos on my booking matched their hotel perfectly, but they still refused to honor the reservation. Instead, they offered us vacant rooms at a higher cost or told us to find another hotel.
We were already exhausted from traveling, so we had no real choice but to take their rooms just to get some rest. This experience felt like a total scam.

Found a room here at short notice after our previous booking cancelled on us at the last minute. It was convenient and reasonably priced

Le personnel était au top! Très serviable et aimable. La chambre très confortable. Un hôtel au calme de la rue.
Il faut un moyen de transport pour se rendre au centre ville mais pour nous ce n’était pas un problème.
La salle de bain aurait besoin d’être rénovée. Mais ça n’a en rien gêné notre séjour.

I had a wonderful stay in Canary Hotel in Hanoi. The staff were incredibly accommodating, always ready to assist with a warm and friendly attitude. The rooms were spotless, well-maintained, and provided a comfortable environment throughout my stay. I highly recommend this hotel for anyone visiting Hanoi and looking for excellent service and clean accommodations.
No breakfast - but decent coffee shop down the road and a few night eateries
no coffee or tea in the room. Only central light switch for room - so you stumble to bed in the dark. Some reception staff have very poor english
The Staff in reception counter are all nice and helpful,location is close to the Korean mall , room was clean.
The staff were exceptionally helpful in finding us tours and prices, booking trips and tickets. The process was made very simple
It needs maintenance done. Chair legs falling off. Shower heads falling off. Toilets had trouble flushing. Shower water running out of cubical and all over the bathroom. The internet pictures didn’t show the location was in a back alley where taxi and mini bus had trouble accessing. Very loud in the corridors, hearing other people yelling.

We booked the room in the morning and arrived at 1am to find the rooms weren't ready so we waited it was a minor inconvenience but did waste some time hanging around. After finally getting into our rooms we found the water running from the tap and shower was muddy dark brown water, unfit to wash with. We asked for the girl at reception to order us a taxi an she said we should download the grab app, the photos from booking.com look nothing like the hotel in reality. This hotel is very outdated and needs a refurb, I wouldn't have minded much but we paid a premium that I would expect at least abut better quality accommodation.
