The host amazing person. Proper local who helps and take care of everything. He arranged a local pick up for us from bus station very reasonable price. I felt very safe with my kids as a single mother staying in the KONAK. The landlord amazingly helpful and take care of everything, such as little bus to centre , to warmness of our room. He even made us to introduce to local people. The next day we woken up the snow. Which made our stay into a magical landscape. My son and I loved felt safe and well looked after and spoiled by the gentleman who is very honest kind ,caring hotel owner. He made extra mileage for his guests which made this place exceptional. He is not money oriented people who just wants to rip you off as tourist. We felt like proper guest looked after well by the owner. The best part was the kittens. It is truly magical land and hotel.

You should be aware of that hier is a very old house. So you don’t have the comfort of the hotel.
But it’s interesting to spend a night here and feel how the people lived 300 years ago.

It’s been amazing to stay in such a unique house. The village where it is located is awesome, for us even more beautiful (less touristic, more genuine) than Safranbolu itself. Selçuk is kind, ready to help and available for conversation:)

Great historical mansion in traditional village. The host was friendly and hospitable, did a short walking tour through the village and gave some useful advice. Very calm and peaceful place and great value for money. There is lovely cat family also

Everything was amazing, the place, the host, the room, the village, the cats…. Had the best time here, relaxing in the countryside while also visiting historical places like Yoruk and Safranbolu. It is truly an experience that you will rarely get somewhere else. It felt like sleeping in a museum, but also being part of the host’s family, he will truly look after you from the moment you book the room. What a treat, and what a fortune to have found such a place. I am sure we will come back sometime in the future, and I truly hope to find this gem again. Thank you for everything!

An interesting and comfortable stay in a historic house a short drive away from Sanfranbolu. The manager, Selçuk, is very hospitable and knowledgeable about the local village & surrounding region. Would definitely recommend this place to anyone passing through the area!

Our stay at this incredible 300-year-old house in the Yoruk Village near Safranbolu was a highlight of our trip to Turkey. The true magic of this place is the host, Selcuk.

He kindly took the time to guide us through the village, sharing fascinating stories and knowledge that we could never have found in a guidebook.

Host fantastic, had the experience to stay in an Ottoman’s home and little village just outside Safranbolu.

What a great place, very unique, 300-years-old mansion. I loved it. The beds are comfortable.
The village itself felt like I was in the past. Wow!

Selçuk is a wonderful host and the house is beautiful. The descriptions are very accurate and we felt very comfortable. This is a very special place and the atmosphere is unique. Selçuk knows a lot about the place, history in general and is a very engaged host. If you expect a standard hotel experience with all the standard procedures, this is not the right place for you. However, if you want to experience a truly unique location with a wonderful host that attracts very interesting people you will love the place. We always wanted to stay in an ottoman house that was not too much Disneyland and Paphlagonia Yorük Muratoglu Konak really was such a place. We definitely would like to return some day and we will definitely recommend the location to friends & family.

Le lieu est incroyable. Un petit village dans les hauteurs. Selçuk et sa mère sont des hôtes formidables. Nous avons eu un tour du village et des explications historiques. Et si vous aimez les chats, alors ce manoir est pour vous!
