Aurora Boutique Hotel Jambiani

Nous avons passé un séjour absolument merveilleux dans cet hôtel qui porte parfaitement son nom de petit paradis. Dès l’arrivée, on est enveloppé par une végétation luxuriante qui donne l’impression d’être dans une petite jungle tropicale.

La piscine, entourée de plantes et de verdure, est un véritable havre de paix. On s’y détend dans une ambiance apaisante, presque hors du temps.

Un petit chemin discret mène directement à la plage. Cette balade est un vrai plaisir, on y croise parfois des familles locales, ce qui rend l’expérience encore plus authentique et chaleureuse.

Les propriétaires sont d’une gentillesse rare : accueillants, attentifs et profondément attentionnés, aussi bien avec nous qu’avec leur personnel. On sent une atmosphère familiale et bienveillante dans tout l’établissement.

Il est très important de souligner la qualité irréprochable du service. Tout est fait avec soin, sourire et générosité. Un immense bravo également au chef, qui cuisine divinement bien et régale les papilles à chaque repas.

Un lieu que nous recommandons les yeux fermés, et où nous reviendrons sans hésiter.

Ein schönes Hotel in einer gepflegten Anlage mit einem zentralen Pool, wie ein kleines Paradies. Sehr schöne Zimmer mit einem kleinen aber funktionell gut ausgestattetem Badezimmer. Alles sehr sauber und liebevoll eingerichtet. Sehr freundliches Personal mit einem guten Service.
Ausgezeichnetes Frühstück mit einer Reihe von Wahlmöglichkeiten. Ein Ort um sich zu entspannen abseits vom allgemeinen Touristen Trubel.
WiFi und somit der Zugang zum Internet war auch bei Stromausfall immer möglich.

Un bijou d’hôtel ! Tout est parfait :  l’accueil chaleureux et professionnel du personnel, tellement gentil,  l’ambiance paisible, les chambres sont magnifiques. On se sent immédiatement bienvenu, comme dans un petit havre de paix. À ne surtout pas manquer et en plus on y mange super bien !"

Un accueil très chaleureux et très professionnel. Une écoute agréable et le souci de toujours nous faire plaisir. Nous avons apprécié les attentions pour nous préparer un ptit déjeuner pour excursion safari très très tôt.
La décoration et le jardin paysager sont magnifiques. Sur l ensemble de notre séjour, c'est l'hôtel qui a répondu" parfait " à tout point de vue. Nous vous le recommandons sans hésiter ! !!. Merci a eux, vraiment !

I chose Aurora Hotel in Zanzibar because of its excellent food reviews, eco-conscious approach, and intimate, small-property atmosphere — and I was not disappointed. In fact, everything exceeded my expectations.

From the start, communication was exceptionally smooth. Melissa, the owner, reached out before my arrival and made everything feel effortless. She even went above and beyond by helping with my art project—connecting me with local contacts and personally taking me to a deserted beach to film. Her kindness and involvement were truly remarkable.

The seafood, prepared by chef and co-owner Simone, was absolutely delicious. Every meal was a highlight. I highly recommend having breakfast, lunch, and dinner on-site; the food alone is worth the stay.

The property is very well kept, with a beautifully maintained garden and thoughtful design throughout. They even upgraded my room because the nearby bar might get loud on weekends — such a considerate gesture.

The Wi-Fi was strong enough to work comfortably from my room or even around the pool throughout the day.

No air conditioning was needed at all; the combination of the ceiling fan and the fresh sea breeze made sleeping perfectly comfortable.

All in all, Aurora Hotel offered a most personal and memorable stay. Warm hosts, exceptional food, eco-minded values, and a truly welcoming atmosphere. Highly recommended.

Melissa was an incredible host - she has a ton of local connections and organized unique outings for us almost every day. She was very friendly and was a key part of us having an exceptional experience in Jambiani. The location is very convenient to the beach with a swimming pool and lounger if you're feeling lazy, and the food (and the value and freshness of the food) was also amazing - we happily ate there every day. Her cats and dog were well-behaved, fun companions at the property.
