I was Really Disappointed with "Laaiplek Hotel", However we got were upgraded to Riviera Hotel, and absolutely appreciated it

For a one night stay it was barely adaquate. The fan was so noisy couldn't use it, and it was hot.

Relaxing, and a great West Coast experience.
Pros:

We have stayed in the Hotel before so we knew what to expect. Its a very laid back hotel (no frills) which is what we like. Close to fishing boats etc so you really get the feeling of the West Coast. The rooms were kept clean with fresh towels each day. Breakfasts were superb and the staff of the hotel were so polite and accommodating. Really enjoyed our stay.

Cons:

Pity there was no Bar open on the front by the water and no food available other than breakfasts, however the staff were very helpful in suggesting restaurants to go to.

Pleasant, short stay
Pros:

Staff was friendly and very attentive. Loved the location & the view over the water.

Cons:

Rooms were tidy but very dated. The paint is peeling off the furniture, and it can do with a lick of paint!

Pros:

The breakfast was excellent and waiters friendly and helpful. The service was also excellent and place always clean and tidy. The view was fantastic. A special thanks to the nigh staff for your exceptional service and going above and beyond creating such a warm and welcoming atmosphere during my wife's birthday and our anniversary. You've made this hotel my favourite destination.

It was close to the water, with a beautiful view and friendly staff.

Cons:

The experience did not meet our expectations or photos shown . The restaurant was closed. Breakfast was very plain with no variety.
