The booking total does not include the Klaserie Private Nature Reserve Conservation Levy of ZAR 450 per person (over 12 years in age) per day (2022) or the reserve gate entrance fee of ZAR 230 per vehicle once off (payable upon entrance at the gate in cash).Please inform of your expected arrival time in advance. Schöne Lodge mit abenteuerlicher Anfahrt, leider sehr wenig Tiere gesehen
Pros:

Das Essen war sehr nett angerichtet und immer sehr lecker. Man kann zwischen zwei Gerichten wählen.
Die Ranger sind bei den Game Drives sehr bemüht, nur leider gibt es im nördlichen Teil des Kruger NP derzeit wohl nicht sehr viele Tiere. Letztes Jahr im Sabie Sands haben wir viel mehr gesehen und sind sehr viel näher an die Tiere herangekommen.

Cons:

Die Portionen des Essens waren sehr klein.

Pros:

Os funcionários fazem o ambiente/hotel ser melhor do que ele já é. Todos são extremamente educados e prestativos. Não medem esforços pra te ver bem. O quarto tem dois ambientes, quarto e banheiro. O quarto é relativamente pequeno, mas super confortável. A área do banheiro já é maior, um ótimo espaço. O hotel é super agradável, vista pro lago, balanço, piscina, tudo ótimo. O serviço de maneira geral é ótimo. No meio tempo entre os games drives você fica super a vontade no hotel, aproveitando toda a paz e até algumas bebidas que eles oferecem. As comidas são muito boas, em todas as refeições, eles dão duas opções por refeição e você escolhe a que mais te agradar e é super bem feita.
Sobre o Safari: é muito legal! Sair a procura dos animais na casa deles, seguir os rastros, vê-los de perto e ouvir as curiosidades sobre cada um do guia é muito bom. Importante: controle as expetativas em relação a ver muitos animais pois é totalmente imprevisível. Você pode não ver nada, como ver tudo no mesmo dia. Um dia vimos apenas girafas e elefantes, em outro vimos o rinoceronte e o leões, então pode acontecer tudo, inclusive nada e entendo que isso vale pra qualquer hotel dentro da savana. Mas nosso guia sempre se esforçou muito pra encontrarmos todos os animais o que foi um ponto alto pra nós.

Cons:

Infelizmente tivemos problemas com nosso banheiro. De maneira geral percebemos que toda a África do Sul tem problemas de hidráulica, mas nesse hotel especificamente se espera um qualidade melhor. Quando usamos a banheira e parece que a água voltou pelo cano e inundou o box do chuveiro e junto com uma espécie de lama preta. Relatamos o problema e foi prontamente consertado. Ainda a temperatura do chuveiro era bem instável, ia do super quente pro frio do nada em segundos, tivemos dificuldade em ajustar.
Sobre o safári: se você tem interesse no Bush Walk tenha em mente que nem sempre será possível fazer. Vai depender da quantidade de pessoas que tiver no carro. Também senti falta do tal “ranger” no carro, que ajuda o motorista a encontrar os animais. Sem ele o motorista fica “sobrecarregado”.

overpriced and not much to see

it is a cute little lodge, there is a nice book area and a little pool. some people of the staff are nice.

Cons:

so, rooms are very tight. there is no space for luggage or anything. food was not so good. the area of klaserie is a very bushy, dense one, so, you do not see much comparing to other areas. roads are very very rocky. so, i don t know, but for what you get its overpriced in my opinon. also their transfers are highly overpriced. i just think there are nicer places in Klaserie where you can stay.

Tutto perfetto, dalla location allo staff, ai game drive ai pasti. Raramente sono stato in un posto che ti fa sentire così coccolato senza risultare mai invasivo o stucchevole. Super raccomandato.

A perfect Lodge in a perfect setting with great Game Drives.
Pros:

Our stay at Ivory Wilderness River Rock Lodge was the highlight of the holiday. Danell and Wienand were wonderful guides and hosts and made us feel very welcome at this beautiful Lodge. Andrew and Siphiwe looked after us at the Lodge and we enjoyed every meal. The team at Ivory Wilderness work well together and make sure that you are well looked after.

Highly recommended for nature lovers!
Pros:

Good value for money! Excellent food! Knowledgeable guides with the biggest respect for nature! Situated at a riverbed with a lot of animals!

Cons:

Just a little warning; the lodge lies 1,5 - 2 hours drive from the reserve gate.The wifi and phone connections are bad at times. If you have a rented car,be sure that the rental company has an office close by; our had not! Not easy when your car breaks down inside the reserve!

Pros:

We loved this amazing Safari lodge! Warren and his team were super friendly and went above and beyond to make our stay special. We loved the safari drives and the bush walk is a must do! We saw all of the big 5 plus so many more beautiful animals and birds. Warren's knowledge of everything in the park is astonishing and we loved learning about the history of the area and South Africa in general from him. The property is stunning and we especially loved eating/relaxing on the deck watching the many animals pass by.

A brilliant once in a lifetime experience

We can only recommend staying at this wonderful Lodge! Craig, Andrew and all the other staff were so friendly and kind- they made our stay a once in a lifetime experience! They made us a warm welcome, served us delicious food and drinks, and organized the best safari we ever had.

An amazing experience in a wonderful lodge, would highly recommend.
Pros:

Perfect location, relaxed and comfortable. The staff were attentive, and very friendly. We felt extremely fortunate to have Craig as our guide.. so knowledgeable regarding the animals and the land. We learnt so much from him. And his patience and knowledge allowed us to see so many beautiful animals. Our stay exceeded our expectations.
