On the boardwalk

Cons:

Floor wasn't level. Room went up hill. Bathroom toilet super low, bathroom tiny, sink was across the room not in bathroom. Many stairs, no elevator. It was fairly clean but very old. Windows cloudy.

Awesome historic hotel right on the boardwalk. My mother couldn't make it to the 3rd floor (no elevator) and the front desk woman was awesome and was able to move us to a lower floor! You are paying for the experience of staying in a hotel that is over 100 years ol!

Cons:

Only thing I can say bad is there was a hole in the carpet 🤷‍♂️ and the night shift male front desk clerk informed me that no dogs were allowed while looking at my service dog (with her vest on) I checked about having a service dog before I checked in! I explained the laws to him and all was resolved!

When an employee tells you over the phone you are on the first floor, you expect first floor. Not 2 steep flights of stairs to carry your bags up and down to get to the first floor. Was then told, "you must not have read the reviews."

It was close to beach

Cons:

I ran out of water getting a shower came back in few minutes but... said first floor but up 15 steps no elevator so taking the cooler up was a job. No microwave and not really anything special except it was close to beach.
