Location was great
Very noisy from street
Also noisy when the guest staying above us very loud into the night; we could hear them and it woke us up after midnight
TV was very small for the size room
What a great room, 2 king beds with plenty of room to move around. Beautiful hardwood floors. Mini fridge, microwave, coffeemaker, wine glasses and bottled water. Location is superb. My niece goes to Ringling College of Art and Design so this will definitely be where I plan to stay. Close to the main attractions and the gorgeous Bayfront. Great value and very quiet.
No complaints
I didn’t feel safe walking alone. I walked a couple of blocks and got followed by a guy that called a buddy on a bike and they followed me back. I was scared! On the main high traffic road.
You can feel the nostalgia in the furnishings.
You need a better check in system or post Obvious Instructions. Not everyone reads everything and the restaurant staff (I know not affiliated) refused to seat us at a table. Fully booked restaurant inside and out yet not a table was seated then nor the rest of the evening.

We had a really lovely stay in Sarasota! From the moment we arrived, everything was incredibly easy thanks to Nova’s lovely and detailed message with clear instructions on where to find our envelope, the map to our apartment and the door code. The apartment is really cute and practical, with the huge fridge and well-equipped kitchen being a big plus if you fancy cooking and eating a little healthier while travelling 😂. We also loved the useful recommendations around Sarasota, including what to visit, opening hours and distances.
There were just a few little things we missed, such as a non-stick frying pan for breakfast eggs, a broom and a few extra rubbish bags, but nothing that took away from an otherwise very comfortable and well-equipped stay.
Now, I have to mention the mattress… because honestly, it deserves its own paragraph 😂. It felt like sleeping on a waterbed, except without the luxury and with considerably more movement than we had ordered! Let’s just say we had a few very memorable nights and woke up feeling like we had spent the night at sea. 🌊😂 This would definitely be the one thing I’d recommend improving.
That aside, we genuinely enjoyed our stay. The apartment is charming, practical and very well thought out, and the whole arrival process was probably one of the easiest we experienced during our Florida trip. With a better mattress, I’d have absolutely no hesitation in coming back! 🩷

Adorable room, we loved it! Characterful, clean, comfortable King bed, great A/C, wood floors, lots of large windows, our particular room had a large bathroom & large shower, but each room is different. Each room has a name; our room had the same name as the hotel: The Reserve Retreat room
It is literally right on a major road with a lot of traffic; there is traffic noise all the time. I actually like this, but some people might not. The A/C drowns out a lot of it; we had NO trouble sleeping.
The room itself was quaint and welcoming and the Italian restaurant onsite is amazing
No drawers for clothing, just a rail for hangers. Termites on the bathroom curtain and when we got the fleece blanket from the rail they were over that too

There was no breakfast, but I was not expecting one. The only thing missing was a chest or dresser to unload our suitcase into. It is a great quaint old apartment that circus staff lived in many years ago and had full refrigerator, and adequate stove. The bed was good and the AC kept us cool, that is important when it is 100.
