Bed uncomfortable. Too hard. No sleep.
I checked mattress next morning and the pillow top soft mattress on the bottom, so your actually sleeping on base mattress.
I asked host and she said Vietnamese people like hard beds and when winter comes she puts pillow top mattress on top for foreigners.

Why she didn't change for me, I'm not sure.
And I asked a few Vietnamese people about hard beds and they don't like.
Definitely the hardest bed(Base) I've ever slept on.
Worst sleep in three years travelling.
Hopefully host will change mattresses pronto.
If bed was better then my rating would have been and 8 or 9.

The owner is super nice and very helpful with booking travel and tours! She gave great advice and suggestions for the area. The water pressure was good and hot. The location is good and hidden away from the sounds of the city. The breakfast was decent and the coffee was awesome!

Bed is a little bit hard but it's ok for vietnamese standard.
Location was excellent, end of an alley, no flow thru traffic, close to everything on the loop; yummy 2, start-up cafe, chef hung manh and tit and mit coffee shop. Hostess was friendly and accommodating even anxious to help, elevator a huge plus since my room was on the 6th floor. Free breakfast was coffee/tea and banh mi (egg, sausage) toasted bread freshly made, chairs/tables adjacent outside. room was large, 2 queens, hot water, no problems with wifi, towel changes & room cleaning on request. Btw stayed there 2 different times for a total of 10 days, obviously thought it was a great value
Power cut-offs, not a minh duc problem but a cat ba island problem, happened several times during my stay.

The walls on the first night were damp all throughout the hotel which was a bit uncomfortable.
