The best stay in Zanzibar
Pros:

The pool, delicious breakfast, and all other meals were truly wonderful. Rachel, the owner, was incredibly warm, welcoming, and friendly, making everyone feel at home. The staff members—Jackson, Mohamed, and Anthony—were absolutely fantastic, adding to the delightful experience.

Cons:

The bed was a little firm, but honestly, that doesn't dampen my overall positive feelings about Jaribu Hotel.

Would go back in a heartbeat!
Pros:

We had a fantastic stay, I would go back in a heartbeat! We stayed for about a week while travelling all over the island and Jaribu ended up being one of our favourite spots. You can walk 15 minutes to Jambiani or 25 minutes to Paje (or take a 5 min tuk tuk ride) to walk around town, shop, and try local cuisine. There were people swimming in the sea, but there's many sharp rocks so we stuck to the pool and then took a boat to go snorkelling. The staff were genuinely friendly and attentive. We watched them make the most delicious fresh fruit juices every morning. The pool overlooks the ocean (absolutely beautiful at sundet) and we had did deep tissue body massages done in our room on one of the days there was bad weather. All in all, it feels very homey and we left feeling like family. Oh, and the lamb curry is to die for!!! We're still dreaming about it. Thank you to the Jaribu team, we can't wait to go back.

Cons:

The Wi-Fi didn't reach our seaview room. Which is great when you need to switch off and relax, but not so great when you need to answer emails. Other than that, we can't fault Jaribu :)

Sehr angenehmer Auffenthalt
Pros:

Prachtig!
Pros:

Prachtig zwembad, mooi uitzicht, lekker ontbijt. Fijne locatie tussen Paje en Jambiani waardoor je wel rustig strand hebt maar ook in een half uurtje over het strand naar een stadje kan lopen.

Cons:

De wifi is niet stabiel.

Amaizing staff in beautiful place!
Pros:

It was very clean, beautiful inside and outside of the house. The best thing is that it is so close to beach that never ends. Staff were perfect! So friendly, but still professional. They thought us new Swahili game, some words in Swahili language. Best staff we ever met!
I have celiac disease and there was nothing inappropriate for me from day one. That is also one very big plus for me!

Cons:

Everything was perfect!

Pros:

Brilliant relaxing stay with very friendly and helpful staff
Pros:

The property was very clean, had a lovely pool and bar area and was right on the beach. The staff were very friendly and helpful. the hotel was a 30min to the two closest towns, Paje and jambiani but the walk was nice along the lovely sandy beach and it was easy enough to get a tuk tuk back to the holiday if you didn’t want to walk or if the tide was too high to walk. Both the town offered different feels, jambiani was more relaxed and paje a little more vibrant.

Cons:

I liked everything about the hotel

A stunningly beautiful place, with helpful, friendly staff.
Pros:

My daughter and I had such a wonderful week at the Jaribu Beach Hotel! I still miss it! The staff were lovely - always friendly and helpful, and ready with advice or assistance. Our room was comfortable, cool and quiet, and the place is beautiful, with an infinity pool overlooking the beach and ocean. Watching the sunrise over the sea before tucking into an amazing breakfast was a great start to the day, and swimming in the colour-changing pool by moonlight was a magical way to end it. It's possible to walk along the beach to Paje or Jambiani, or just to a nearby beach bar or restaurant, and for longer trips there are tuktuks or taxis. I would highly recommend this hotel, and would love to go back.

Pros:

Location right at the beach, calm relaxed and very private. Not crowded good walkable to the nearby beach towns. The way to jambiani is also accessible at night ( Paje not )

Cons:

Rooms lack proper natural ventilation, making it difficult to air them out. Breakfast was very basic, and requests for alternatives (such as anything other than white toast or pancakes) or extras (like additional vegetables or coffee) were often met with reluctance. At times, requests were simply ignored—for example, after having two small cups of coffee, a third was not brought. My husband, who doesn’t drink coffee or tea, was limited to just one glass of juice.

Despite agreeing in advance that all charges would be signed for, water ordered each morning still appeared on our final bill, which was frustrating. While the restaurant food was decent, it did not match the level or quality one would expect for the prices charged.

In the evening, it’s not possible to walk back from Padje via the beach due to high tide and the lack of a proper path. During the day, it is possible, but somewhat challenging because of the reef.
