Dark, worn-out, and unwelcoming to comfortably stay overnight with their young son.
Cons:

The room in general looked very old and over used. Beds creaked and looked like it could have things living inside (but to be fair, I didn't check). The room was dark, but this could be because it was a first floor and looking at the parking lot (which was full of immense trucks). In summary, I didn't think this was the place to spend the night with my 4 y.o. son, so took this as a sunken cost and found another place.

Pros:

Very clean.

Cons:

Not for solo female travelers!! There was no deadbolt or chain on the door. The only lock on the door was the very basic thumbturn lock on door knob. I asked the host about it and he told me that none of the rooms on the ground floor had anything else.

Pros:

This a bare-bones motel: bed, bathroom, refrigerator, and microwave. Super friendly, responsive staff. But nothing fancy. I like to pay as little as possible for a place to keep my ligand sleep at night at the lowest possible cost. This motel fills the bill!

Good size room, comfortable bed, easy parking.

Cons:

We arrived a little before 6 in the evening and tried to check in after driving most of the day, only to find a note on the door saying “ out to dinner, be back around 7”.

We had to sit and wait for over an hour just to check in. ☹️

Pros:

Great value for the price. The important things (mattress and shower) were excellent. Very convenient location right on Highway 50, but the room was quiet.
