OK für eine Nacht in einer Tourismus-armen Gegend
Pros:

Dieses Hotel wird wohl nur sehr selten von Touristen besucht. Alles ist 'sehr japanisch', das fängt schon damit an, dass man im Eingangsbereich die Straßenschuhe gegen Hausschuhe tauscht. Die Kommunikation auf Englisch hat per Übersetzungs-App gut geklappt.
Das Hotel verfügt über einen eigenen Onsen, der die ganze Nacht geöffnet ist.

Cons:

Das Hotel ist deutlich in die Jahre gekommen, das kann man nicht nur an fleckigen Teppichen erkennen, sondern auch an der Ausstattung.
Die Zimmertüren fallen sehr laut ins Schloss, somit kann man jeden Gast kommen und gehen hören.
Obwohl das Hotel eine 2*-Kategorisierung hat, war der Preis so teuer (oder sogar noch teuerer) wie manche 4*-Hotels, die wir in Japan in deutlich touristischeren Lagen gebucht haben. Das ist vermutlich der Tatsache geschuldet, dass es in dieser Region keine große Auswahl für Übernachtungen gibt.
