Cons:

Absolument rien (même en cherchant beaucoup).

a hidden gem, we felt really comfortable. Thank you
Pros:

We had a lovely dinner at the Mey, and enjoyed several of their beers. Breakfast was lovely and the serve was second to none.
The rooms are to the rear of the Inn and look as if it was the old stables and outhouses. each room opens onto the court yard. the room was superb, with the added detail of Tunnock biscuits.

Cons:

I am a miserable so and so, and had nothing to moan about!

Perfect Highlands Getaway
Pros:

Such a comfy, cozy place with fantastic food.
We loved the tartan decor, the hot water bottles and the extra sweet treat when we arrived.
Dinner and breakfast were both excellent.
Hosts were warm and welcoming.
The bedding was so good I didn't want to get out of it in the morning.

Cons:

That I had to leave!

Pros:

Super nette freundliche Gastgeber.

Pros:

A very comfortable and cosy room - loved the twin Highland Coo hot water bottles!
The owner, Ewan, was very knowledgeable and took.the time to have a chat after dinner, which was absolutely delicious, and the chap who served us drinks (sorry, didn't ask his name) was also lovely and chatty.
If we are ever back in the area we will definitely stay at The Mey Hotel again.

Cons:

Nothing at all.

A little gem
Pros:

We had such a warm welcome at this hotel. Everything was exceptionally clean. The decor is beautiful. The friendly staff treated us as though they were personally welcoming us into their home. Breakfast was freshly cooked and was everything we could have wanted. We even had little highland cow hot water bottles on our bed. This hotel is a definite YES and we'd certainly stay again.

OK for what it is and the owners are trying to move it on. Typical of Northern Scotland and the NC500, but don’t expect
Pros:

About the only ‘proper’ hotel in the area we needed to be in and it looked ok on its website, however …

Cons:

Having to choose your breakfast from a limited menu for a particular 15 minute slot.
No daily room servicing, despite the usual ‘leave your towels on the floor …’ notice in the bathroom - hots reckons it was mentioned at check-in, but we disagree.
Only one easy chair in the bedroom and the other ex-dining room chair very worn (room 9)
Miniscule napkin for breakfast, Brakes Bros marmalade in tiny plastic portions.
No log fire lit in a chilly evening in the lounge
Some lack of attention to detail generally.
